There's too many unneeded tools in it for just modelling, gMax and blender suit his purpose much better than Max. Especially for learning.

I liked the first episode a lot more than the second. While the story of these games are good, I generally find point and click games boring. I also did find the second one a bit short, I hope this isn't going to be a trend of quality steadily decreasing as I really like the game art and the style they used. SPOILER: Or by other logic: He wouldn't stay where he was because he would never have gone on the trip to find out about the speakeasy in the first place due to Edna. He also might never have built the time machine. Either way I look at it (BTTF 2 Logic too) there is some sort of problem there.

Rather than wading straight into 3DS max modelling which is more complex to use. I would recommend you start with simple (and free!) software such as "blender". While I don't have much expirence with modelling myself I always found blender a lot more intuitive than max. There is also a free version of 3ds max (or at least like 3DS Max) called gMax which I believe also works with "Kam's GTA tools" that is commonly used with 3ds max. According to wikipedia gMax focuses more on content creation than 3D animation which is the primary use for 3DS Max. Hope this helps.

Well that sure was a useless reply. Of course they can do Doc if they can do other peds, its no different. The DeLorean sure looks strange in GTA IV, I can see theres alot of finishing to do with lighting bu its good so far . I also read that the delorean from the crysis mod is being converted to IV too, which should be epic.

I can run gta 4, sort of on: Radeon 3850 512mb Athlon 64x2 4800+ 2gb ddr2 800 I can run on med but the fps is jumpy because there is too little ram. I recommend 4gb to run it well.

The court house square is meant to be a square not a rectangle? Well near a square anyway. I think your clock tower is way too wide. In fact, the movie's square is way different, the cannons face different ways and the paths aren't like yours. Heres a piccur to show what I mean. I cant really say much else about it as I don't know anything about Furcadia sprites.

Its a font. I did it quickly and couldn't be bothered making separate images so I just used a generic digital readout font.

They aren't hard to make or understand. What do you want to morph them into anyway? I made this Its just simple date and random functions. Mine uses a session to store the first time the image was viewed and then displays that as departed time. I used php with the gd image library. EDIT: Its probably doable with just html and javascript. But I was practising using gd image.

Im aware of that now . I shall fire up img editor, it might be failing to delete them because they already where removed in previous install? EDIT: They where removed, still no hill valley. I will try on virgin install seeing as ive run the installer so many times now.

I'm on windows 7 x64, I used a clean vc w/o radio stations installed. First time I installed the game would crash halfway through the loading bar. I ran the auto installer again and game loaded but no hill valley (No clocktower etc, just the cinema road with no buildings). Ran installer again and it freezes on bar again: install_log here. So basically seems a bit hit or miss here. EDIT: Loading issue seems to be to do with cracked exe I was using. Dont know about hill valley issue yet.

Looks pretty good, to keep the train in a straight line you could have but small ridges either side of the tracks in the col file. Sort of kerb stone height, that way the train would be more likely to stay in line.

iOffer seems like a dodgy, badly moderated place. Most of these sellers seem to be selling illegal copies of most games and whatever else they can torrent. Lets hope they can at least get the listings taken down, though I'm sure there will be more in the future . Its unfair when sellers target less informed people and make money of other people's hard work.

17k polys is quite high. An average rockstar made car is 3k polys. You would be best importing a basic model like a cube etc just to make sure its not your technique. I've never got anything to import either.

1. That program is called wine. WineHQ is just the site. 2. Linux is a good os, you clearly don't understand it. - Or are over opinionated. 3. WineHQ has an "appdb" to show tricks and compatibility. Gta 3 apparently runs 100% fine with some patches: see this. Please research before coming to a conclusion on things in future.

Depends on distro I think. On gnome when you press print screen a dialog comes up with a clipboard option and a save file option.

I had Os X for a while. But it didn't support my sound card and my Ethernet had constant drop outs. Ubuntu only supports my gpu's sound output with pulse audio. I miss alsa.

He has good spelling to "descroption". Problem with buying something like that is you never no quite the extent of the damage/problems until you poke around it in detail. Looks like one of the door hydraulic cylinders is dead to. If you do go for it make sure you look around it fully. I don't think he will be desperate to get rid of it he looks like a car dealer unless he is randomly selling like 10 cars at the same time.

I didnt really like the sa storyline I find it repetitive as it just turns into a sort of "go to this house kill some guys escape cops" thing. Though i think the map is awesome with the varied landscapes and vehicles. Vice city had the best story line in my opinion as it's focus was made clear from the begging unlike sa's "I think im gonna stay". I never really followed gta3's to well either. I do this vice city's map is a little boring as there isn't much variety.
