And not only that, but to make the the insides of the temple, part of the pyramid and not an interior!

So that;

1. It frees up an interior for other uses.

2. Saves any unnecessary loading.

Your interior of the Temple is the interior of the pyramid ... The thing you name "Temple" is only the entry , you're going to see it when the new Abydos will be finished ...

And we're not going to model the village for a simple reason : it's useless for the Story ...

and in the series when SG1 go on abydos we don't see the village , only a camp

For the PJ can't you use the Sparrow (Heli) for the PJ (thrusters in), and use the SeaSparrow for the PJ (thrusters out)? And have a conversion between them like in the BTTF mini-mod? With maybe animations oneday :P

The only problem is missiles, so you could use the hunter instead of the seasparrow, but they arn't auto lock on. <_<
