  1. This topic is a bit older, but what I'm about to say also applies for the just released 0.2f version: audext.exe is a tool that extracts the game's sounds as .wav-files. The installer runs it and then replaces the sounds with custom ones from us. Finally it runs audimp.exe which imports them again and then cleans up. If these tool's aren't working on your end, please try the manual installer. Instead of modifying the audio blob, it bundles an already adapted one and installs it as a whole. Similar for the model and texture archive file called gta3.img. The auto installer adds and replaces files in this file and the manual installer bundles it as a whole.
  2. Topics merged. Please check first if there's not already a topic for your issue. I currently have no idea why traffic becomes this sparse, but I'll research a bit.
  3. Thanks, we're aware of this. When you get out of a certain range of Vercetti's Mansion, the game will load a LOD version of the mansion that has no collision, thus the train falls through it. Once it reaches the bottom of the level I believe it disappears and a new one gets spawned on the roof that then again falls. If you near the mansion again it might occur that the train is in mid fall when the actual model with collision is loaded again so that it gets stuck inside the house.
  4. There's certain aspects of the game that occur when loading saved games we can't control. These sadly lead to unpredictable behavior, so please don't use game saves.
  5. If your problem is solved, please click the checkmark on the answer that helped you :).
  6. Note that we don't endorse pirated copies of the game. It's very cheap to get, i.e. 10€ on Steam or if you need it even cheaper 2.75€ on G2A.
  7. Oh right, the script spawns a new truck once the old is destroyed. Well, if you keep shooting and destroying it quick in the same spot it spawns then you'll have loads of them pile up...
  8. First: Do you even see the timecircuits on screen? If you do, which sound do you hear when you press the minus key? error.mp3:Your browser doesn't support HTML5 audio (mp3). Please update to a modern browser! enter.mp3:Your browser doesn't support HTML5 audio (mp3). Please update to a modern browser! (Your browser should show little audio players in the two lines above. If it doesn't please mention.) If it's error, then you must have entered the date in an incorrect format.
  9. I actually fixed that bug as one of the last minute fixes, however the file was incorrectly included with the auto installer. Either use the manual installer - that version doesn't have the issue - or open the installer with an archiving tool such as 7-Zip and browse into the data folder. You'll find 2 files named objects.dat in there. Extract the larger one of the two into the data folder of the mod: That should fix it.
  10. The truck only works with the BTTF1 DeLorean, did you use that version?

  12. Hi, as most non-cannon features were removed from the mod in 0.2f and the tutorial mission used some of those, we also decided to remove the tutorial mission altogether. That's why you don't get any textual tasks what you're supposed to do. Do other texts work fine? For example, do the Timecircuits show fine? If, then everything should be as intended. Regards, Mini-Me
  13. Hey Bullseye, we migrated the forum software to a new version. Because some features were removed and changed between the different versions, not all data could be taken over during the migration. Your profile pic appears to be one piece that was left behind. You should be able though to add it back again, though. If there are any trouble with that or you need me to dig up the old picture, please let me know.

    Won't Load

Well, it can't load the audio library that should sit in the same directory as the gta-vc.exe. Or rather, the audio library it tries to load doesn't have a function it needs (because it's a wrong version or such). What environment are you trying to start the mod on? Key factors here are Windows version, installed DirectX redistributable, version of the game (i.e. from original retail disc, from disc in a later re-release, from Steam etc.). Did you install the mod on a clean install of the game or are other mods installed, too?
  16. Well, not quite. He didn't get around to making the glitchy one himself, so I modified it quick and dirty andleft the original file so he can compare. It's still his property though
  17. The TC's are PC's baby. I only embed them here .
  18. Sorry it took me this long to react, but the server is updated to MTA version 1.3.2 and is available again.
  19. Kind of my bad. I worked on Photobucket compatibility for the media BBcode (not done yet) and added a Javascript library to the forum's main script file. That however invalidated the whole script, which I didn't notice in my tests though because of an older version of it in my browser's cache .
  20. Thanks for the feedback. I guess you coincidentally checked out the site today, because it's been faster the previous days. For some reason it's slow today, we'll see if there's anything we can do.
  21. A nice lamppost model, sir. With just two minor flaws. One, the lamppost doesn't have any lamps. And two, the lamppost doesn't have any lamps. Now I realise that technically speaking that's only one flaw but I thought that it was such a big one that it was worth mentioning twice.
  22. What Thyncho88 said is right. (Sorry TranceLikeState, you're wrong ).
  23. It was not our intention to get the trails effect that made us replace the executable. What we needed was limit adjustments for instance increasing the amount of models the game can load.
  24. I myself wonder if the mod works at all with VC CLEO. I somehow remember it didn't. Either that applies to 0.2f or also to 0.2e, not sure right now.
