Guys, oh and female's :P I need your help
daangelo29 replied to Evil Morning Operator's topic in Off Topic
Blood Omen is not a DOS game. It's made for Windows 95. 'Ya know, what I like the most in the LoK games is the epic voice-acting. Everything the characters say is no ordinary English. I don't care how much the gameplay sucks, as long as the voice-acting is good. -

Forgot to mention Battlefield 2142. It's another FPS game with science fiction mix like TimeShift. The only FPS games I play are Half-Life (1 and 2), Call of Duty 2 and Modern Warfare 2, TimeShift, Postal 2 and BF2142. I'm more of an action-adventure/sci-fi/fantasy/horror dude. If you're also into fantasy, EMO, like vampire games or stuff like that, you might wanna try the Legacy of Kain games. You can start with the second game, Soul Reaver. (the first game, Blood Omen, is an abandonware, hard to get and hard to run with post-Windows 98 OS's) -
Like Prototype (PC version). I always wondered if my weakling Acer mini-PC's Core 2 Duo is better than my hell better laptop's Pentium D. Kind of does. If you try using an HD monitor with a weakling GPU, you'll get poor performance. Try using an old monitor with a next-gen GPU, and it would boost the performance by about 5%, more or less. Seriously.

My choice of games for that are Half-Life, TimeShift, Doom 3 (soon-to-be series), Silent Hill, Left 4 Dead and Resident Evil. If you want a first-person version of GTA, go play Postal 2. Yes it does. Who the hell would invent an electronic door that would close 2 seconds after you flip the open switch? The people who made TimeShift obviously focused more on graphics than gameplay. What only kept me playing this game is the time traveling and FPS. They SHOULD remake this game. lol @ iMaster -
lolz. The whole Nazis time traveling conspiracy theories have been around since. I remember watching an show in Discovery Channel or National Geographic about a ship made and used by the Nazis to experiment with time travel. According to the conspiracy theory, the ship vanished, and it later returned (from out of nowhere) sometime in the future I think. What happened to the crewmen was gruesome, from being found stuck in walls ("noclip") to having missing flesh or organs. Our planet can bend space-time using its own mass, which is why many physicists are interested in time travel. It CAN happen.

Kind of like Mike's, only they flew in the air first burning before exploding in mid-air.

It's a feature. Blue made it so anything near the pole at 10:04 PM would get damaged. The damage is the same as what you get from an explosion. I do it all the time when I still had VC. I tried putting about 5 DeLoreans up there once. It was fireworks at 10:04 PM.

So it is Doc, then?

Forgot to mention you'll need the Universal Theme Patcher first. 'Ya know how to use this, right? http://deepxw.blogspot.com/2008/11/univers...me-patcher.html RocketDock doesn't support 64-bit OS's at the moment, so I'm currently using ObjectDock.

My May 2010 Desktop, featuring a blue (friendly) HAL 9000, new wallpaper, and new system tray clock. I'll be sticking with this, until I find a way to make the progress bars and others from blue to red or dark orange for the original red HAL 9000 start orb (the red HAL doesn't fit with the black-blue/silver theme I currently use). @RG: You might wanna try this one out -- http://krissirk.deviantart.com/art/7Pro-Fi...for-7-146771367 -- or other darkish themes at deviantART. There are themes hell better than Aero, 'ya know. EDIT: Changed Start Orb.

Welcome to the forums, ianenri. There maybe hope for that http://www.bttfhillvalley.co.uk/forum/inde...40&start=40

This is awesome. Gonna try the SA version soon (I haven't installed GTA:VC yet).
-
So are we going for VC CLEO for the BTTF mod, or are we staying with SCM only? I miss playing GTA:VC.
-
A dream come true. O_O Can't wait for GTA3 and VC CLEOs.
-
We all do, don't we? (I'm not convincing to have it released, just saying )

Nah. We'll allow you to bump this thread. This is your mod, after all.

Happy bday Mini-Me Just realized you're younger than I am (I'm going 19 this year).

Pure epic win. I want that DeLorean (too bad I can't have it). The Crysis DeLorean makes VC look like a different (and better) game engine lol.

Let's Talk about the Half-Life series

Only a HL fan would know the epicness of the Half-Life franchise. I suggest you buy a copy of HL2 and download the mod Black Mesa Source (a Source engine remake of HL1) when it comes out, if you wanna find it out yourself. -

True. Longer development means better gameplay, unless the developers are lazy or morons (or both). If you want an example of a game that "tastes like cardboard", see below. http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthrea...hreadid=2913491
