bluespace88 9 Report post Posted December 10, 2010 http://jalopnik.com/5711254/jalopnik-car-p...za-motorsport-3 The second of Jalopnik's two car packs for Forza Motorsport 3 is here! You'll be able to buy the pack, chosen primarily by Jalopnik readers, this Tuesday, December 14th through the XBOX Live Marketplace. Sadly, there's been some changes — so the car pack's not entirely perfect. Gone, sadly, are the Shelby Omni, Starion, Lancia, Ford Escort Cosworth, Syclone and BMW 6 series. Added, inexplicably, is the Ferrari 250 California. Partly this was due to vehicle availability and partly it was done as a need to balance out the offerings. Still, we're excited to see we got some of the most important cars — like the El Camino and the DeLorean. We also got the Pantera and the Saab Turbo. Muscle car fans got the AMC. Basically, there's something for everyone

Joe Statler 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2010 FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU*K!!!!! hmmm looks like they didn't model the dip in the wheels. you're right but there's a small chance that may be how they look in motion and not stopped.
bluespace88 9 Report post Posted December 10, 2010 Its fine. They still have the better physics model.
Joe Statler 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 I wonder if it's going to have a top speed of a normal DeLorean. Yea, that will beat those Ferrari's and Lamborghini's alright.
Shadowknight1 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 If they did the same thing that Gran Turismo 5 did, then it's probably based on the current production DMC-12s, giving it the original horsepower that the original specs were supposed to be.
bluespace88 9 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 I don't think it can beat some modern day compact cars.
~Leaf~ 111 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 what game is this?
iMaster 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 Interesting thing to note: 60% of the DeLoreans produced in the 80s are still operational and road worthy.
TranceLikeState 94 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 As bad as some of their other stats were, for a type of car as a whole I'd say that's pretty impressive.
♠Grim♂ Reaper 1666◙ 17 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 well if they did the time machine version you could smash records down to finsihing the entire race in 5 seconds.
Knight Bob 1 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 lol

Dragon King 15 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 Impossible depending on the race. You'd have to stop, get out to refuel Mr Fusion (IF you have trash handy) and doing so would get you disqualified
♠Grim♂ Reaper 1666◙ 17 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 or run over. just have a auto trash reloader with a giant box full of rubish on the passenger seat. better passenger seat removed mroe room for rubish have a vacuum take up rubish and put in mr fusion. Dragon King 15 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 also have to calculate where the other cars will be at reentry as to not "materialize" in someone elses car. I also think people would notice if a car was cheating via time travel Interesting point here: How would an actual "race through time" work?
♠Grim♂ Reaper 1666◙ 17 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 well first make sure you don't get sent back to 1885 on a race track you will crash. if you see a dino run and so on.
archer9234 20 Report post Posted December 12, 2010 They probably map out certain time periods where you can travel to, dodge, and avoid obstacles. Maybe allow time phasing. Where you have to touch landmarks.
♠Grim♂ Reaper 1666◙ 17 Report post Posted December 12, 2010 or if you time travel to a version of the track which had less barriers go past them then go back to the normal track.
