Herbie gets betrayed like every 4 hours in his eyes. Just because someone saying something about machines, lol.

Herbie was shown to be more human-like in the movie.

Just imagine yourself being thrown to some place, with people seeing no purpose whatsoever with whatever talent you have mainly because of a big mistake you did before involving that talent, then suddenly someone finds you and finds some good use with your talent.

For a while, you managed to make up for the big mistake you had, then you're in the stage of taking back the glory you had back in the old days, then suddenly that person abandons you for someone else with the same talent. Because this talent, for you, is no talent but a trait, a permanent part of you, you'd feel rejected once more, but more than you ever were.

This was the real reason why Herbie wanted to commit suicide, and not because someone said something about machines. His need for social affiliation and belongingness are themselves human traits.

I've always wondered how Herbie became Herbie in the first place. We can speculate all we want but the people who actually know are dead.

They might have never thought of it.

I have never come up with a background story for the ATM, for example.

Herbie could be a car at an amusement park.

Herbie could be built while little kids watched him being built.

I still think he is charged with positive energy.

Herbie for me is like a Transformer -- there's something in him, like the "spark" of a Transformer, which serves as the source of "life" and the soul itself of the vehicle.

Har har har. Lets say that Wilton Knight hid one of his state-of-the-art chips in a Beetle and forgot which one it was.

Can I just make this clear to people who want a sex bot:

Right hand and p**n: Free

Girlfriend: $200 a night

Hooker: $500 a night

Escort Service: $1000 a night

Sex Bot: $10,000-30,000 + repair, maintaining it, and no real emotion.

So in reality, it's better to actually go out and get a real girl. Why can't we leave science to curing diseases and hunger, instead of finding new ways to have sex and make our meals better for us while we sit around and do nothing?

hey, girls aren't being left out, they have male sex dolls too, which means that there will be male robots too. Remember the movie Artificial Intelligence: AI where Jude Law played Gigolo Joe, the sex robot for women.

gigolo joe was one of the main characters....

but yeah none of you should assume that its only going to be guys who use sex robots. as i said before i'd only use one if it was free and guaranteed to be 100% clean. not pre used coz that would be just... ew.

and ronald... what kind of gold diggers have you been dating? 200 bucks for a date... though to be fair im not considering your weird american customs like the guy paying for everything and tipping waiters.

over here we beleive in gender equality, and not giving waiters money for nothing... because they get paychecks.

and to be fair, for people around my age over here a date generally consists of going to a nighclub getting really drunk, dancing for ages, going back to somones place at 5 am, rooting and falling asleep. possibly followed by a wake and bake in the morning

That's why my last girlfriend and I would change who paid for the date each week.

I was never one for clubbing, and my last girlfriend wasn't much into the clubbing scene either. We'd just go to a bar with some friends, play some pool, listen to live music, and converse with each other. Most of the time I wouldn't even get drunk, although that doesn't mean I didn't drink. I've always been more of a smoker than a drinker.

One more thing, it's always a bad idea to have a first date at a movie theater (at least I think it is), because you can't get to know the person that way. I always take my first dates to somewhere we can talk, like a pool hall, a bar, or a hookah lounge.

to be honest, we dont really do the whole dating thing over here that much either. we just meet and get to know people when you're out with friends and if you meet somone who you get to know really well and start having sex (not necessarily in that order) with then thats prettymuch it.

"but EWJ sex isnt the most important thing, communication is"

i'm well aware of that, thats what phones, internet and getting off you're lazy ass to casually hang out with people are for. we NZers dont find it necessary to organize everything. going out on dates is usually somthing intimate couples who've been together for a while do.

On a first date i ussually take the girl to the park when it's a nice day, then we sit down on a bench look in the horizon and talk. Then when i know them better i take them to my place.

My first date with Judy, I asked her out for lunch. We just went to a generic pizza place. Then we just walked back to Brooklyn. Which was 2 hours lol.
