They have their reasons. Maybe the coding for the rogers and the RRDEL to stay on the tracks is buggy.

They aren't even being done. Those tracks DK made where because he was bored one day.

Maybe the coding for the rogers and the RRDEL to stay on the tracks is buggy.

There is no coding. In a way it works like real tracks.

At both sides of the car there are boundaries that prevent you from driving off the tracks, but unfortunately this makes some problems in curves or brakes you when not being strait on a strait track.

Yeah, when the vehicle rub against those boundaries, they would slow you down or put you to a halt. Those collision model-based boundaries were never a good idea, in short.

But can the old GTA3 train code that remained in the GTA3 engine of VC be applied for the train and DeLorean?

Actually even the guys of GTA:LC didn't even find out how to do that.

They simply made the train an object and send it around the tracks using the code that sends Cortez'(?) Boat around VC in some missions, but I guess it wont work with vehicles.

Could Carlos make a special version of the train that is jsut meant to be as a object. When you link to the tracks the game switches you to that object?

would maybe work, but probably requires even more g-memory :D.

Also it might be a lot coding work to let you control the train (de-/acceleration).
