@Daniel Did you tryed trance's salimits.ini. Its a little different to the default bttf sa. @Trance So will you maybe use that map as a base and create more stuff around it, or did you only wanted to do a 1:1 conversion? Would it be difficult to place HV to some other area? Maybe a few miles up into the sky where its out of sight.

No, I didn't got it working without SALA. I needed to check out wich limits are needed to be altered because I didn't had SALA installed. It crashes too often for me (the more limits are changed) and I still dont wanna use it but I have to in order to check out your map mod. Now that it works, I can say HV looks cool in-game. And now stop reading my mind because I didn't said anything about SALA. Anyway, these are the only limits that are needed to start SA without crashing (values from SA mini mod 0.1.3.2). Buildings=25000 ColModels=20000

I got the map working and its cool. Would be even cooler if you finish / repair the back walls of the buildings. I know this needs a little imagination..

I thought you already did (Patriot Act).. However, I really hope the world police of the united states dont fick up this time again. Otherwise, this kind of things might be able to provoce native americans to do very bad things in anger about the government (terrorists) - Not saying all amis are crazy, the spectrum of characters is probably the same as in most rich countries (crazy people are all over the place), but as bigger the continent, the more people.. - Anyway, anger combined with believing to be on the right side (wich is a good thing) means political trouble or even revolution (in some way). By the way, I dont believe this act would prevent the economy (companys wich demand on digital products) to loose money. Every media which is meant to be read can be read (whis applies to the internet aswell) - Pirates are mostly poor people, not stupid people. What has to be changed is not the access to what the internet provides, but the hole advertisement in all media which driectly manipulates our valuation of our needs. This is what makes people becoming pirates and all governments should care about.. Especially in USA. But economy comes first, intellect second (or third, ...). Whew! False alarm.. I thought boltzzclan would have been erased from existance already. Would need pretty good acting anyway to pretend to be another person by writing everything wrong in a completely diferent way.. (like I do my wrong typing style) Did you get punished, boltzzclan? However, the most effective way to treat annoying people is to ignore them. A filter might help, but it would indeed be censorship which might affect you negatively aswell. In form of a metaphor because im so great: Investigate the heat; Identify the fire; Let the fire burn, but do not feed it. Meaning its pretty hot most of the time, but thats just the way it is.. The more the fires burn down, the better they can warm you up.

Its not about the avatar, but the picture visible on the profile page. I tryed to change that aswell some time ago but this feature is only available for IFT Investors.

My knowledge about new hardware is limited but I would recommend to check the performance of the important parts (especially GFX card performance [GPU, MEM Hz] for gaming) compared to those with the same branding/chipset, but built into tower PC's. This is why I hate laptops. You either get an email checker with a low performance, or a powefull thing which batteries are empty after 1 1/2 hours or so.. I recommend to use a tower, if you dont really need a portable PC. -- Otherwise, use a tower for gaming/video and a cheap laptop for the rest

I can't tell you how to export the model correctly, but I can say it looks pretty well done in the screenshot. Just keep it up!

@knightprowl Yep, reading those avalanches of text is not much fun.. Nothing about your style - Its just too hard to read and understand, like posts in (nearly) grammatical correct english, with real words and stuff.. I needed five minutes to read yours. When it comes to providing free mods, which were already given away for free, then I dont see any problems in sharing alternate or more advanced versions, as long as the downloader is able to find out who the real authors are, so the user can check for updates, get support and feed the author with feedback. Also the real author might wanna know about possibilities in improvement. Stealing those things is the bad ting! I think thats the reason most modders dont like to see it when thier stuff is available elsewhere. Its the lack of overview about thier little children. And sometimes its even enough to just tell the author and send him/her a link. Ofcourse you wont get thrown in jail for providing GTA mods on the internet without permission. Fick the law, it has nothing to do with moral (or us). Maybe its enough to ask "Do I wanna be responsible for (even a little part of) all this redundant trash on the internet?". I dont wanna say your mods arent good (I just dont know) or that you shouldnt release stuff, but simply saying "f**k off" sounds pretty ignorant. If you step on someones shoulders, watch your feet for a strong position. Enough philosophy.. Sounds good
