    Effects Request

    You'll have to want on.
  2. I think he means have the vents on permanently at night when in hover mode. Del did a video way back in which he had that feature coded in - I think it was the 'hover glows and mechanics' video if I recall correctly.
  3. As suggested before knightprowl, if you actually want people to read your posts, at least have the decency to construct them properly. A full stop here and there, and a few line breaks wouldn't go amiss. Drop the swearing, it's not big, and it's not clever. 'Anyway's ttyl peace'
  4. TLDR - Put some grammar into those posts and drop the swearing, it makes you look like a kid. This might help you grasp some basics: Guide to grammar and writing Have a nice day
  5. It looks a damn sight better quality than the one videobob wears in his videos - just saying.
  6. It's standard, you've been talking to me over on the DOC forum, username mikeward
  7. As cool as that would be, that's half way to a new stainless exhaust.
  8. Check the bug tracker, someone asked that very same question.
  9. I try not to get as annoyed by it anymore (it helps that I'm not here as much these day's), and to be fair I don't think any of the team has posted an annoyed response to a newbie for a long long time.
  10. Please excuse the crudity of this update, I didn't have time to build it to scale or to paint it. Credit as always to LGisby for his excellent model work, and to Dragon King for rigging them for use in GTA and placement in game. This makes 3 of the 4 streets that make up courthouse square now complete. The last street with the 'Town' and 'Holts Diner' buildings are currently in the process of being modelled.
  11. Not sure about the sidewalks, but I believe the street texture is temp.
  12. Yes, the buildings all have collision - it's the reason you can't escape from a building if you happen to do something like this
  13. To answer your question, for update pictures please see below (these aren't here as a result of your post, I did mention in the shoutbox last week that I would get around to posting some update images). With regards to a video, I plan on recording a new video once the 1955 town square is complete. Regarding the models that bttf92 made, unfortunately we were never able to get them working in game, they were just too high poly - he also emigrated some years ago and since then we have lost contact, so I'm afraid for the moment we are stuck with the tommy "Marty" skin, unless someone has a better alternative which we could look at using. Who are the "they" you are referring to? We have no issue we new members... Please excuse the crudity of this update, I didn't have time to build it to scale or to paint it. Credit as always to LGisby for his excellent model work, and to Dragon King for rigging them for use in GTA and placement in game.
  14. 928, and it was an overdub. The DeLorean has no problems hitting 100, though I wouldn't feel comfortable taking it much above 80 having seen the crash test video at 40mph....
  15. I still have the set for Midtown Madness 2.
  16. The wheel pictures are from my D. The top picture is from DMCH's facebook page.
  17. They're still not right, it's not just textures, it's the actual models. The front wheel and the rear wheels are both different. The front is a 14" wheel, the rear is a 15", and the rear wheel is slighlty convex Front: Rear: There is a picture floating around somewhere of the old 0.2e DeLorean model, with the 0.2f DeLorean's wheels.
  18. Are you sure they are accurate?
  19. Which is why it was restricted to take off only...
  20. Should be ok, although you'd be surprised at how little all that junk actually weighs.
  21. Just for info, going by the book values, the maximum speed of a stock DeLorean is 130mph not 120mph.
  22. Whichever way you would like to put it, it's not happening on this board.
