For bttf 2 they should have used the same delorean as in bttf 1 all they needed to do was stick a number plate and a blender on it. Plus all the flying scenes were done with a computer or a fibre glass delorean.

Actually, they did. Besides the fiberglass delorean for all the flying scenes, the A and B car were converted to use for bttf2. C car of course was used, since interior had practically no change.

Damn thats nice. And way to go for not doing the same old 2 cars (first and second movies). Of course i love those too but they always seem to get the restorations. How awesome does the hood panel and all it's parts look in the fading light in that video? Cool stuff.

well, one's kind of hanging underneath planet holly wood in its train wrecked state, and the other is held by Universal who refuses to sell it.

They can't, because the part 1 cars are the part 2 cars. All three cars (A, B, and the cutup car C) were modified for part 2, and if you're talking about doing it the "same way" as the part 3 car here, the B car is kind of a mess right now. C car, obviously, was used for interior shots. So you really only have one actual car thats still running that was used in parts 1 and 2, which is the A car sitting at Universal Studios Hollywood in BTTF2 + Universal crap garb.

I think BTTF2 used 2 or 3..

1 was Car A, the "hero" car, as Blue put it.

2 was Car B, the fiberglass one,

3 was POSSIBLY a green-screened one, but that's most likely Car B.

Please read their page before guessing what they did.

http://www.bttf3delorean.com/Where_are_they.html

Its mostly complete, but there were a few omissions.

To revise, in BTTF2, they used a total of 5

1. The A-Car, which is the one we see most of the time

2. The B-Car, which was the one that did most of the stunts

3. The C-Car, the cut up one where the interior shots were filmed (this is where they used the green screen

4. The first fiberglass model, which was destroyed in an accident

5. The second fiberglass model which was built as a replacement.

Those same cars (sans the fiberglass ones) were used again in BTTF3. The B-Car was converted to run on the railroad, and is the Delorean that got destroyed at the end (though just the shell)

In addition, 3 new ones were added

1. One sand-delorean, used for most of the desert scenes, and is the one that got restored here.

2. The other sand-delorean, which we see in doc's shop. You can tell this one is different because it has a gas flap.

3. Another railroad delorean, used for the wheelie stunt.

In total, 6 real deloreans and 2 fiberglass ones.
