  1. Hello everyone, As some of you may know, I recently upgraded to an Nvidia GTX 550 card and swapped out my power supply for a 400W rather than a 250W. The main problem I'm having is that every game program immediately exits out after starting or will just show up black when a menu should appear. I am running on a Windows 7 64-bit computer with an AMD Athlon II X4 635 Processor (2.90 GHz) with 4.00 GB of RAM. Any technical help would be appreciated. EDIT: The only game it has run so far was GTA SA, but that was after letting the computer sit and run for about 20 minutes..
  2. Funny, it's the same as yours, just with an added Porsche 928 rev at the end. As you recall, the 928 was used for sound effects on the movie cars. EDIT: Perhaps it's the fact that I lowered the pitch a little. I did that such that it starts sounding as it did in the film rather than slightly higher pitched because SA tends to start engine sounds from a higher pitch and gradually lowers down to the original pitch of the sound file as you speed up.
  3. Indeed there is. :c It has something to do with the file compression when it was uploaded to youtube. I wish I could fix it, but it was still bugged after multiple uploads at the time. Your computer is just fine. I also have to give Uokka most of the credit for the model. At the time, I didn't know as much about Zmodeler as I do now, so I was more of the texture guy and he was more focused on the modeling. Any thoughts on the sound effects I made (engine and door)?
  4. Sorry, but I am unable to see your video. :/ EDIT: Nevermind, it appears I'm having a connection problem with the Youtube servers. EDIT 2: I just was able to see the video. Nice work! The ironic thing is that I used the same engine sound for my SA mod, but I edited it to incorporate the Porsche 928 engine sound as in the film. Here is actually a showcase video which I was going to post on the forum, but never did because Uokka and I updated the model. At the time, Uokka and I were modifying the Crysis DeLorean to look like the BTTF II version along with having some nice modifications. In particular, these were textures and the process of adding real working lights to the car (as you can see at night). We both always found it a little odd how the rearlamps didn't work on the Crysis conversions. You can also hear the door and engine sound modifications which I've made in the video.
  5. Thanks PozitiVBttf. I may release the DMC-12 to a few people soon, but it will not be a public download. EDIT: I've actually made it such that you can switch between the BTTF 1 and BTTF 2 DeLoreans in the model.
  6. Glad you noticed, Microman! Yes, that is Robocop with his Auto-9 gun. The texture for him is custom, which was made by me. Here are some photos of him when I finished his textures: On a side note, here are some progress photos of the BTTF TM version. HQ ones are coming soon once I get my new PSU. Please note that the car and the textures on it have been updated and changed since these were taken 1 week ago.
  7. Could you post a video, perhaps? This I would really like to see working.
  8. When someone knows they're in trouble, they always head toward Mexico.
  9. Really sorry to hear that, and my gosh it was a DeLorean!.. Unfortunately, I don't have any plans that can help you with the TCD, Speedometer, or Flux Capacitor. Is the other guy's insurance paying for the damages to your car and the rear deck?
  10. Yes, that is the clock I needed! Thank you for the help and the download!
  11. REQUEST: Hello everyone! I was just wondering if one of you would be able to give me just the Bulova Clock model inside the Telltale DeLorean from a source such as Trance's conversion. The main reason why I'm asking is because when I try to manipulate the Telltale DeLorean model, whether it be Trance's conversion or the actual model, the clock gets skewed into stretched polygons. This is probably due to my graphics card not being able to render it properly. The clock will be used inside my Driver SF DMC-12 BTTF version. I would prefer a mediafire link for download. Thanks!
  12. I see! Sorry, I didn't understand what was said before meant. EDIT: I went back and reviewed the cutscene. It was the one where Niko entered Brucie's apartment and Roman was on the computer, right? I couldn't really see it, so I'll probably go in-game and teleport to the cutscene location to look for it. It would also be helpful if you could post a picture pointing it out. I can't give pictures of my actual model yet, but the main reason why I used the Mr. Fusion is because I just can't find any as-good alternatives.
  13. There's a tutorial for 3DS Max here on the HV forum: http://www.bttfhillvalley.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=3622 If you know how to use Zmodeler, the steps are fairly the same.
  14. From my experience with Zmodeler, I would definitely agree with it being superior in car mods rather than in map mods. However, Zmodeler does have its problems. Sometimes it has erased my work at random, though this is rare.
  15. Thanks, indeed it is! My intentions exactly. However, I plan to use some Telltale parts, such as the Mr. Fusion, mainly because there aren't many other good alternatives.
  16. I've had a hard time with 3DS Max myself, so I use Zmodeler. I'll send you a message with more details.
  17. I'll probably post in the shoutbox when I make updates.
  18. Same here, I'm also using Google Chrome. It also seems to work just fine in Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.
  19. Nice, but who is Bruce? It also couldn't be this car, I haven't released it; however, the model is finished! Now to make a BTTF version...
  20. Wow, that last update looks great! You've really come far with this.
  21. This is a complete side-note, but nice avatar Trance. Any updates on the release of your other Telltale work?
  22. *UPDATE: Model is almost complete. Tire-popping is causing a few issues.
  23. Sorry to hear about that Steve, hope you feel better soon!
  24. Wow, that DeLorean just blew my mind away! Excellent work, I have no words to describe how awestruck I feel now.
