  1. Yes, they do, unless they're really built to have mods like Half-Life 2 and Doom 3. Unfortunately, GTAIV won't be having a Choose A Mod To Play or Custom Game feature, so yes it will be hell hard.
  2. I don't know why my cousin's so amazed on this Clocktower Lightning Strike Reenactment in RC thing (yes, he made this topic, not me), but it's the probably the feeling that you'll be able to experience as both Doc and Marty when doing the reenactment this way. I've ever since already proven that this is possible in RC. If I was this amazed, I should have posted a vid showcasing that feature to you guys before 0.2e's release. It wasn't a big deal to me at first, but when the bug I found in this RC feature "saved" me at a seemingly hopeless situation I began to enjoy experimenting stuff with this feature. Just hours after Del immediately released the latest 0.2e beta update for us, I tried testing The Ride mission and fortunately I made 8 repeated finishes. I was planning to do a save, but then I've changed my mind when I thought of this reenactment being done in RC so I did try doing this, hoping I'll find some nice bugs to report lol. After successfully having the DeLorean time travel in RC from Nov. 12, 1955 to December 25, 0000 12:00 AM without bugs, I went to get the Time Train to catch up with the DeLorean, but when I got to the mansion I thought of using it to travel to different periods first. After a series of time travels, there was one part when the Time Train caught fire. In a nick of time, I was able to time travel before the train exploded, but as expected I ended up in the Nth Dimension. I bailed out successfully, but I ended up being stuck, seeing that I was in 886 AD and the Time Train can't be re-spawned back to the mansion for some reason. I can't play a new game 'cause I've been enjoying the mod for hours now and also I can't waste my 8 wins on The Ride mission. Eventually I gave up after realizing there's more to this dimension than I've thought, so I tried doing some stuff while in the dimension. One time, I thought trying to get to Hill Valley without falling to the water or dying. And so I did, but when I reached the Courthouse Square, in a struck of luck, I've finally found what I was looking for -- my only ticket home, the DeLorean. I never had plutonium to use after discovering it, but that wasn't really a big problem. Eventually I returned back, and after doing so I realized I managed to have 2 hours of gameplay, therefore proving the beta that time was hell stable. Also, the only bug I found so far in that beta was that the DeLorean wasn't "destroyed" after entering the Nth Dimension. It was strange to me that time why the 0.2e beta I've played was more stable than both 0.2d and the non-beta 0.2e.
  3. Too weird to be a 2200 car, especially with that 80's engine.
  4. So if it was set to 88.0, the speedometer can only reach up to 88 while in a DeLorean?
  5. I just looked it up, and ALF is a television sitcom involving a weird-looking alien called ALF (Alien Life Form). It's probably famous in Texas, seeing Honest talking about it right now though as if it's well-known or famous. Never really heard of ALF, but I do remember seeing this guy:
  6. Yeah, GooYah is better. It pwns all search engines' a**es. I'm looking forward to the Grim Reaper theme by the way. This would inspire me to keep on moving for our ongoing Grim Reaper comic project. In fact, I'm thinking of making a mod based on the Grim Reaper.
  7. Or maybe we can have delays on stuff in the alternate timeline after the year 1996, like the start of the "future era" being delayed to year 2025 (while it starts in year 2010 in the original timeline) or possibly seeing your "alternate self" in the year 2030 with a familiar-looking non-DeLorean time machine doing the same stuff as original Marty did in the original 2015 only that he won't be seeing a Sports Almanac in an antique shop and get tempted onto buying it and causing another almanac incident lol.
  8. This will be implemented sometime in the future versions, (and we're too far from those versions yet). In the final version, going to 1985A after the trilogy missions will be like a free-roam thing you can do anytime you want. These could be the possible steps onto unlocking 1985A during free-roam: 1. Go to year 2010-2014 to buy the Sports Almanac from the antiques shop. A marker should appear -- at these years, more copies of the Sports Almanac are still available, where there may only be one copy left in 2015 which will be bought later on by past Marty to create 1985A. You can still buy this Sports Almanac in 2015 in a date before Marty attempts to buy it, but this will cause a paradox. When you've reached the date after past Marty bought that last copy, the marker will no longer be available. 2. Go back to 1955, in any date after November 12, 1955. If you made it in the right date, a marker will appear in front of the door of Biff's house. Note that that marker will only exist up until December 31, 1955 11:59 PM, or any other later date which would still give Biff enough time to create the same 1985A for us. 3. Go to the marker to leave the almanac there. 4. Then you'll unlock 1985A. You'll also unlock 2015A, but since Biff's rule will cease after his death in 1996 there may not be any difference between 2015 and 2015A. To disable 1985A or "Biff Era Mode": 1. Go back to 1955, a day or more after you left the almanac in front of Biff's house. 2. Go to Biff's garage, and near Biff's car you'll find a marker. 3. Go to that marker to take back the almanac. 4. "Burn it!"
  9. If the Master Emerald did went emo, it won't commit suicide. Instead, it will end up like this guy:
  10. 0.2e is a beta version. There will be a time when you'll get bored at playing it. But not for me. I'm starting to learn and understand SCM coding now. Programming is a hobby I enjoy all of time. Explains why my hands never get tired of typing so many words.
  11. Algorithm is one of the basics of programming. But in Informatics, I'm not sure but I don't think it is necessary to require programming. Algorithms are used in calculations and data processing, all computer stuff, but they are also used in non-computer stuff like mathematics and linguistics (study of language).
  12. Here's another example, for you BTTF fans to relate to:
  13. Algorithm is a sequence of finite instructions. It is where "a list of instructions for completing a task will, when given an initial state, proceed through a series of successive states, eventually terminating or ending in an end-state." Here's a simple representation: If the description I've given you above isn't simple enough for 'ya, just try understanding the image shown with the help of the description.
  14. Actually it's: 123456 + 123456 - 123456 x 123456 / 123456 = 123456 Remember the MDAS policy (multiplication and/or division first before addition and/or subtraction)? I first solved 123456 x 123456 / 123456 which is equal to 123456, leaving me with the equation: 123456 + 123456 - 123456 = ? Add and subtract, then I'll get 123456. Try solving it in a scientific calculator (normal calculators do it by order, so most of the time they can break the MDAS policy) and you'll get the same answer.
  15. I'm getting a PS3 soon...if everything goes according to plan. I'll also be getting the following: - The newly-purchased and not yet used stuff the guys uploaded in Angelo's Database via torrent network - Sonic Unleashed for both PS2 and PS3 - Star Wars: Force Unleashed for PS3 - NFS Undercover for PS3/PC - A 2-TB (terabyte) hard drive or drives to be shared by our home network - The music albums that I've been wanting to get and include in my "jukebox hard drive" - A decent laptop for college use, if everything goes according to plan
  16. Nice to hear that. Well at least I finally have a reason why I should start using my old PC again as often as before.
  17. Civilizations died before the Master Emerald, though there wasn't a single time when it went all emo and tried to be suicidal. It just sits there in the Emerald Shrine, as tough as a rock, though as if it's waiting for something good to happen no matter how many times it's removed from Angel Island, shattered into pieces, or stolen away by a mad scientist who's obsessed in dominating the world.
  18. Yup. For a Sonic fan, in my opinion seeing the Master Emerald go emo and become suicidal is a ridiculous idea. The Master Emerald knows how to control emotions. It won't be the controller or the master of the Chaos Emeralds if it doesn't know how to control emotions. We can be controllers ourselves, since we generate thoughts like the Master Emerald, but the reason why we can't perfect it like the Master Emerald is because most of us lack the ability to control our own thoughts and emotions. So I guess only the purehearted ones and the people who have and can have a "peace of mind" are the ones who can be called the true controllers.
  19. Also they're not meant to be compared to each other. I'd choose Marvel over DC. Like EWJ said, DC is unimaginative and ridiculous, or maybe just plain simple. The only thing I like about DC is Superman -- not referring to his abilities, but on how he was able to inspire many comic superhero makers.
  20. It would be better off to leave that job to each of the teams. Just making me Second in Command of the Force of all the teams is unfair for all of them, also this won't be a war if all teams share one same member.
  21. Note for those who are aware of the forum rules: Going completely off-topic is allowed in the Playground section.
  22. The one from Brico is not really Vista Transformation Pack. It's BricoPack Vista Inspirat Ultimate 2 theme pack. It's a different type of vista transformation pack, but unlike the VTP9 from JCXP.net, this one is easy to uninstall and it doesn't require a tougher PC to have it working. I'm currently using the BricoPack. Ever since I've installed SP3, I stopped using VTP. BricoPack was the only one working.
