  1. Neat. Is this CLEO? Nice find. I may not use the mod, but I might find the code useful someday with one of my mods.
  2. Hmm, I forgot my comic self kept all the Chaos Emeralds in the ATM. The virtual simulation would be nice, because it would symbolize or represent my new interest in the Matrix series.
  3. How about putting a Matrix-style virtual simulation in there in the form of San Andreas for better testing? The machine making the simulation is also Chaos Emerald-powered, like the ATM. I don't get the "not to self" part.
  4. No. I've been skipping episodes lately, and there were times I can't relate to stuff, so I'll have to watch all previous Doctor Who to watch the latest episodes and relate to them, if I can.
  5. Not again. The guy AND iOffer are a**holes. I recall Mike sending iOffer an email to bring down those stuff from their website, yet they didn't. The reason why Universal hasn't caught BTTF modders for using BTTF material without permission because not only they credit Universal for the material borrowed but also they don't sell their mods for profit, which means selling Universal's property for profit which is extreme copyright infringement or whatever it's called. So basically those who are selling or bought this one are in more trouble than those who downloaded this mod for free. How about informing Universal themselves that iOffer are selling our mod? This would more likely work than sending an email to iOffer.
  6. That's not good. It's AWESOME. Biggest joke of a game since Action 52. " width="600px" height="361px">" />" width="600px" height="361px" allowFullScreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" /> I'd agree gameplay is better than graphics..but, seriously, that doesn't mean graphics should be ignored in making a game. It's a VIDEO game, for a reason. :|
  7. Do that, and people laugh at you more. No offense, just saying. I was laughed at and called a fanboy when I laughed at their un-knowledge of foreign TV shows and others. Learned my lesson. To be honest, I don't know Doctor Who as much as you guys. That is because they don't feature it here in our country (so basically 0.00001% of our population knows Doctor Who), I or my cousin or my dad has to download the episodes so I can watch them, and it has so many episodes for me to even try and catch up with you guys. But I do know some 'basic' facts from the show. This Time Pod is more dependent to its cybernetic user. It does have some anti-paradox features, like allowing you to rewind or "reset" time when a paradox occurs thus reversing it, but it cannot (or wouldn't) avoid paradoxes by itself.
  8. I don't like an abandoned or unpopulated San Andreas. I'd rather get the real San Andreas game.
  9. lol This one's definitely not the TARDIS. It uses a Flux Capacitor.
  10. Xen's still there. Nothing happened to it. But hell knows what else happened to Xen. The Combine can't reach it because it was said that the Combine tried invading the Nihilanth's original homeworld and the Nihilanth's race tried escaping to Xen, where the Combine could not follow. SPOILER: Doug Lombardi -- "We had a glimpse of the larger threat when we were working on Half-Life. In other words we knew that once you cleared out the Nihilanth, you were going to discover something worse beyond it. We knew that some immense threat had chased the Nihilanth and its creatures out of their own world and into Xen, from which location [i.e. the world beyond Xen] they were all too glad to seize the opportunity to continue on to Earth with suppression through the Citadels. But the exact nature of the threat was left to be solved in Half-Life 2." Marc Laidlaw -- "I'm pretty sure Doug was restating something I'd told him; I [am not] clarifying it, since it's the foundation on which the series continues. What we saw in HL1 was the very end of a long struggle between the Combine and the last of the Nihilanth's race ... The Nihilanth's "world" (if it could be said to have) was long since in the past as far as the Nihilanth was concerned; Xen was their final retreat, and they had their back to the wall, as it were, when the fissure appeared that let them spill into our dimension. Xen itself is sort of a dimensional transit bottleneck--an area of continual contention." I remember reading something in the net, or perhaps hearing Dr. Mossman said in one of the HL2 games (I can't really remember), that the Combine while being able to warp from universe to universe ("multi-versal travel") can't warp from one place to another in the same universe. It's something the Resistance has, however, and Combine might be fighting them for it, to allow them to conquer galaxies faster and easier. That, or because the Combine is in the process of finding easier methods of teleporting. As seen in HL2, they would require an entire reactor to use a Combine teleporter, while the Resistance uses less power and less gadgets. Xen creatures, however, use probably no tech at all and less power -- they were using Xen as a sort of slingshot to teleport between Xen and another universe. This might also explain why the Combine were that interested to investigate Aperture Science, which was also working on in-universe portal tech.
  11. I know little about Episode 3, and Half-Life 3. It's been awhile I haven't played HL. I recall working on a Half-Life 1 mod named "Half-Life Zero". It would supposedly serve as a prequel to the entire series, starring a junior/senior year high school Gordon Freeman. My plan for this game/mod was minimal violence, more puzzle-solving, more wit needed, more twists and more functions for the Crowbar. IF I ever go back to my old C++ days, I might revive this mod with the Source engine. It's the BEST HL mod concept I've come up so far.
  12. I believe you WILL need to think 4th dimensionally. Real-life butterfly effect is applied in this game, so one very small mistake, like make your past self miss one step while it's walking or cause the game to lag, and you'll cause a paradox. Patience would often be needed in playing this game.
  13. Yup. I recall w**king my time travel geek stuff related to it lol. I finished this game ages ago. The final level was freakin' hard to solve. You have to retrieve the last piece of the time machine, the Flux Capacitor, in some puzzle you won't figure out in at least 6 or more retries. I also recall re-posting it here in the new forum, in the shoutbox.
  14. Baptism is to clean you of the original sin, which according to the Bible was "inherited" from Adam and Eve. Your parents is probably making sure you don't go to hell because the original sin, for Christians, is considered a serious sin. Strange why God would want to condemn us at birth with the original sin and eternal damnation if he started the whole fiasco himself, and continue claiming he 'loves' us.
  15. Found this from Facebook. Poor dude. What was he thinking? http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/3950/lolzpwnage.png
  16. That video proves you can have SA graphics in VC, and VC graphics in SA.
  17. @EWJ: This is just random stuff, an idea borrowed from a different forum. Just to check how many people would reply, and to ensure this forum ain't dead from a long time of inactivity. That is until Mike's whole April Fools joke. All of my wishes in my list were already either fulfilled or unfulfilled and never will, except for the atheism thing. Speaking of which, did you go through the same thing, or were you already an atheist since birth? I need some good ideas how to pull it off. I hate leaving wishes (or goals) unfulfilled. EDIT: Renamed thread to "Wish/Goal List". Also added a new entry to my list.
  18. My comic self is more handsome than me. But meh, it's good.
  19. @Joe/Jen: Conficker has been around since or before November 21, 2008. It was activated in April 1, 2009, and it's one of the few things that isn't an April Fools joke. The programmer(s) used the date to make some people doubt its "authenticity". And it's now the same virus that's infected the computers of every school and computer cafe I've been to. @Grim: Are you lost, dude?
  20. I like being a part of a prank or being pranked, except of course if the embarrassment lasts longer than a day.
  21. I believe the fire trails are just fancy effects.
  22. Really? Can you send me that via PM?
  23. LOL should've known. The April Fools should've been more believable if Blue and the rest of the mod team backed-up Mike's claim. We only saw them go online and that's just about it. I reckon they're laughing at our backs at that time. The team itself wouldn't just leave the mod without notice. That was on my mind, but really I fell for the trick in the most part. BTTF 4EVER..
  24. I can't help in the VC mod. I hate SCM editing. I can, however, help in the SA mod. I'll remain until this site dies. I still have those promised mods to be done.
