Yes there is, and it's called Windows 7 Starter Edition. It's so stripped to the point that you can't normally change the effing wallpaper. You'll need a hacker software to do it. The edition closest to Starter is Home Basic. Based from the testing I did before, Home Basic looks like a good deal for gaming. Just make sure (like in all other Windows OS's) you keep it up-to-date.

What's wrong about double-posting? It's my mod thread, and I needed to post the update in this way to get your guys' attention. We're allowing you guys with mod threads to double post, as long as the post is an update or anything else important about the mod.

Here's what I'm thinking: Since I'm editing the effects.fxp (and 'stealing' particles) for this purpose, I'll try tinkering with it a bit to make the particle appear faster. Here's what I'm also thinking: Real pre-fire trails AND realistic/Crysis BTTF mod-style post-time travel fire trails. What'da guys think?

Well, yeah, Windows 7 would only be better if you have a RAM higher than that.

Bad news for the fire trail thing. The game has a problem making the particle appear while the car is moving. It does appear as and where it should, but if you keep the camera to the car you won't be able to see it. I'd both enhance the post-time travel fire trails and release the "tweaked" plasma trails for you guys to try. @Orgcon: Yup.

If you're aiming for free anti-viruses, Microsoft Security Essentials and avast! are your best choices. Among all free anti-viruses, they are the most effective at detecting and removing viruses and they use the least amount of memory. But take note though that being online would ALWAYS make any anti-virus, among others, use a lot of your memory and CPU. If anti-viruses like Kaspersky slowing down your web browsing, just disable the browser add-on it installed, that's unless you visit dangerous websites. If you don't use the PC for browsing the web, you don't need the fanciest anti-virus. A free anti-virus software would do. If I were to choose a gaming OS, it would be Windows 7 Home Basic. Even though it requires more memory than Windows XP, it runs games much better than XP.

I'll only post the HGWTM mod once I have something to release. I'm currently working on the "real fire trails" add-on -- this enables the rear wheels of the DeLorean to literally leave REAL trails of fire behind whenever you reach speeds 80 mph and up.

DK will NEVER release the GTA4 DeLorean. And fyi it's actually the original BTTFHV mod converted to a GTA4 car. I see very little difference between the beauty of the GTA4 model and the original VC/SA model. If you're talking about the Crysis DeLorean, Blue already released it. Go check the Other GTA Mods thread. Or if you've thought the Crysis DeLorean = GTA4 DeLorean, nope, such thing never existed.

Neat. Good thing it's not just some club like in my case, but the REAL DEAL.

If the peds in both VC and San Andreas (referring to Ryosuke's Wanted Level 6 mod where you encounter soldiers "popping out" of military vehicles) can do it, I think the player can, but that's just me. I tried making a mod before that allows you to "cling" to vehicles' rooftops. I can make CJ cling to the rooftop, but I can't make him aim or turn around.

I hated flyspray. Whenever my mom uses it and I experience an asthma attack, I inhale the f*cking thing. It tastes like sh*t, and the taste stays in my throat for a few days. I'm glad she now rarely uses it.

Black holes have the strongest form of gravitation pull in the universe. And because the "electricity" that keeps the particles and atoms of our body bonded together are no match against a black hole, we'll be "spaghettified" by its gravity if we're sucked to it. In fact, we, the planets, the Sun and all other billions of stars are all at the mercy of a black hole right now. I think the right term would be "wormhole". Black holes are simply too strong and impossible to control, and how it functions wouldn't make it an ideal "device" for time travel.

Same stuff I heard from that Discovery Channel show about time travel, so we can be sure he didn't make up the stuff himself to cover himself up. In fact, the theory is more plausible than "creating" alternate timelines when you change the past. If he's really from the future, the believers of the parallel universes theory must feel very lucky. I never used Chrome for a year now, but I don't believe Google is taking personal stuff either. I see them as a company trying to be the #1. But who knows. Ok, maybe he did show his time machine, but how about a video of him operating and using the time machine? That would be awesome, and bigger proof that he is from the future. But to be honest, after seeing his website (never knew it existed in the first place), I'm beginning to doubt that he really came from the future, but then again since this site looks like it's made by a different person, who knows. Btw, I merged the double posts. Double-posting is not allowed unless it's REALLY important like bumping a topic (and having something very important to say). EDIT: By the looks of it, John wasn't really trying to make these predictions on purpose. He just made enough hints to tell what the future will be (or should be before he "traveled back in time").

That, or he caused a major butterfly effect that caused something to come true when it shouldn't. I wouldn't dismiss this as true or false. It could be true that John is just hiding the time machine. Come to think of it, I'll end up doing the same or similar as John Titor did in the net if I ever travel back to the past myself. The feeling of being able traveling back to the past, for me, would be overwhelmingly awesome.

Which is really annoying, especially if it wasn't a real report.
