Here's Mine....

I got my computer kinda cheap in late 2004...... (It kinda sucks and really can only handle BTTF HV w/o crashing after 2 time travels and a good frame rate at a resolution of 800x600 or lower....) (GTA VC normal will work at 1024x768 decently...)

Crashes: After 10 mins or more of BTTFHV, or when any program in addition to the 150MB of Memory being used now uses more than 200MB of memory (computer is very slow and cannot handle it when running big programs simultaneously like Word, Google Earth, or GTA, etc.)

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 2800+ (Single-Core, 0.13 um tech, 1.8 GHz Clock, 200 MHz FSB, 512K Cache)

Current Memory: Single Channel 512MB DDR @ 200MHz

No. of Hard Drives: 1

PAGE File: 1053 MB, 780MB used now, 850-1020 used when playing GTA

Hard Disk Capacity (total): 74.3GB, (39.9 Used) ATA133 RAID

Motherboard: Gigabyte VIA Model K8M800-8237

Video: 64MB VIA/S3G UniChromeII Graphics, currently set to 1280x1024 and 32bit Color.

Audio: SB Live! 4 Channel Wave Sound Card w/ GamePort from who knows when... used to have a REALTEK AC97 from fairly more recent....

Optical: External Memorex 16x DVD+/-RW DL, Internal 52x CD+/- RW and DVD-ROM

Connectivity: Realtek LAN (100mbps) on RoadRunner(8mbps), running through a NETGEAR Router for my DELL Laptop. USB 2.0, Mini-Stereo Audio Out, VGA (??????) Video Out, 3 or 4 extra PCI Slots????, PS/2 Keyboard/ Mouse Connections, NO FIREWIRE or WIRELESS CARD

Operating System: Windows XP Version 2002 SP3

Browser: Firefox 3.0

DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c????

Security: AVG 7.5, Zone Alarm and Spybot SD active....

Hardware and Video Acceleration: Full.... (At the Moment)

Some Programs: Windows XP, Nero StartSmart, Internet Explorer, Opera 9.01, Lime Wire 3.81, Microsoft Office w/ Word, Powerpoint and Excel, Ad-Aware AIM, GTAVC, 30 Different Modding Programs, Adobe Reader 7.1, Cakewalk, Google Earth, Windows Defender, AVG 7.5, Zone Alarm, Spybot, A few old NFS Games, and a few old other racing games, Google Sketchup, Kodak Easyshare, WINRAR, Zomodeler, Windows Media Player, A few tycoon games, (about 4.0GB Total), 3.3 GB of Music, PowerDVD, and a few other minor programs.....

Other hardware:

1. TOSHIBA TEKBRIGHT 510V CRT Monitor from 1999

2. As I chose to use my 5.1 Logitechs on m PlayStation3, at the moment I have Labtec 2.0 est. 5W Speakers, likely from 1999.

3. Logitech MS310 USB Mouse and late '90's Toshiba PS/2 Keyboard

If you think that's crap, here's mine:

Processor: Intel Pentium something (290MHz or more or less)

Current Memory: 32 MB

Maximum Memory: 64 MB

No. of Hard Drives: 1

Hard Disk Capacity: 550 MB or more or less

Video: A granny onboard graphics crap; Even dxdiag can't detect it (I get a jumbled 78-character name -- 3483uaenfae380rhj38jp3d....)

Audio: Another onboard crap

Connectivity: None

Expansion Slot(s): None

Operating System: Windows 98 SE

DirectX Version: DirectX 8.1 (I think)

Other hardware: No USB ports. 1 floppy disk drive (the large floppy disk thing). No CD-ROM drive.

EDIT: Had to change it. When I posted some of the specs, I was thinking of my Compaq PC and the other trash PC I used to have (whose motherboard got fried up because a humongous c**kroach caused a clog or blockage in the cooling system lol).

Use Run: dxdiag ;)

Just checked it. It's DirectX 8.1. Well at least it's good...I think.

Just checked the rest of the Diagnostic Tool. My PC is crappier than I thought. See the corrections I made above.

I did, but I took it out because I didn't need it and wanted space for another CD Drive

If you think that's crap, here's mine:

Processor: Intel Pentium II 290MHz

Current Memory: 32 MB

Maximum Memory: 128 MB

No. of Hard Drives: 1

Hard Disk Capacity: 750 MB

Video: Intel 82845G onboard crap

Audio: Realtek (another onboard crap)

Connectivity: Just a slow LAN connection

Expansion Slot(s): None

Operating System: Windows 98 SE

DirectX Version: DirectX 8.1

Other hardware: Just 2 USB ports.

Is that your secondary computer? Cause, I think you won....

My old computer from 1999 was almost as bad....

If I remember:

Processor: Intel Pentium ??? 366 MHz

Memory: 64??? MB

Hard Drive: 5.99GB

Video: Dunno, maybe 16, or 24MB...

AS I SAID BEFORE: Current Memory: Single Channel 512MB DDR @ 200MHz

However, depending on the program/ diagnostic tool I use, I often come up with 448MB RAM, so I don't know, but I can tell you it feels like the 448 might even be too high.... :P

The computer I mentioned is just among my secondary computers. I have about 3 secondary computers -- 1 laptop (Toshiba; my 2nd crappiest computer); 1 Windows XP rig (Compaq; average computer specs); and the one I've mentioned, my Windows 98 SE rig (my crappiest computer).

It's the oldest computer we have here. I was like 6 or 7 years old as far as I can remember when I first used this thing lol. It ain't plugged in and I don't use it much anymore but it still works. The PC belongs to a generation of computers that don't have PCI Express slots, which is the most hardest to fix due to having a totally different motherboard compared to the customizable one we have today. My cousin also happen to have a computer from the same generation, but hers is way better than mine (it's an Windows XP rig that can run Counter-Strike in an acceptable frame rate, compared to mine).

The only use of this computer is playing old games that I can't play in the new current-generation rigs like Tomb Raider, Doom, Xargon and a very old and simple Mario game.
