The End Of The World!

Recommended Posts

Wow, research into the 2012 Mayan calender conundrum, using the Egyiptian Zodiac and Plato's Great Year (26,000 year oscillating Exodus cycle), the 13 baktuns of the Maya and the Yuga cycle which was used by many ancient cultures, suggests 2012 is not the end of the world which everybody wrongly believes, but is actually the lowest point of the Dark age that we are currently in, which started in 550BC.

On Dec 21 2012 the Winter solstice sun will be in alignment with the center of the milkyway. Which many (if not all) world cultures believe is the womb of the great mother (mother nature) where we all came from. The December Winter solstice marks a time of rebirth, and the start of our reassent towards a more civilised society. Which wont happen for another 9,000 years sadly :(

What ppl fail to realise with the Mayan calender is that when it ends, IT STARTS THE BLOODY CYCLE FROM THE BEGINNING AGAIN. Thats why they flippin' built it on a big stone circle!!!

...And they say we are the most advanced we've ever been, HA!

The universe will care little about the position of planet earth at that particular date.

But its interesting though. What happens physically to the planets in our solarsystem..

gravitational stuff or some -less than usual- filtered radiation, maybe.

WRONG!

The world should have ended years ago! The only calender I have is more than three yreas old.. Its not possible anymore to read a future date from it, so the only logical conclusion is: Im already dead!

However, I dont think the center of our galaxy is mother natures p***y which sends out love and living to everything in its view..

I don't think he understands, even he should know that our calender repeats every (7 Days of the week x 4 leap years) 28 years. ;)

I never believed in that 12/21/2012 Bulls**t.

Well if ppl actually believed in it I'm sure they'd all be running around screaming by now.

A lot of ppl have dismissed it though blind ignorance though (which is the human way) "It'll never happen to me"

Its like the 'Third World' scenario, they know its there but wont do a damn thing about it, because its not their problem.

Donating when they can it makes them feel like they are doing their part, even though it reality it doesn't make a blind bit of a difference.

I, and I'm sure a few other ppl, would like something spectacular to happen on that special date, but the reality is ...its not.

Its just gonna be an excuse to get some cool shots of the sun setting with the Galaxy center behind it (which you wont see without many many expensive filters and long exposures, but it'll be there)

;)

Didn't they also not say that the world would be gone last year in December?

What I wanna say is, we can't predict the future by looking at a calender which no one realy understands.

(The gregorian calender is out of race here. Its cycles are too short. i know that. ;) )

I dont think anybody who does understand the mayan calender would say, the world ends at the calenders end.. since it starts all over again.

WRONG!
My sarcasm seems not to work in english.. :P

For us its only a great date to spend money buy books and videos about 2012 or even survival kits and food.

For science this date might be world shaking (in case there will be something observable), as it could help us understand how to predict planetary constellations without using a telescope..

How the hell did the mayans know all that stuff about the worlds galaxy-bouncing cycles. Not to speak of the inka, egyptians and other peoples who builded scyscraper like pyramids (to observe the sky, probably ) thousand of years ago!

Well that is the interesting part, there is a big hoohaa amounst the scientific community thats been around since the dawn of Science itself.

"Are we the first?"

I don't mean first race, there is enough eveidence to suggest we've been on this planet since evolution began a few million years ago, but are we the first advanced culture to have been devoloped in our longevity?

Darwinian science claims that we started off 'stupid' with 'nothing to show' for ourselves, and over a long period of time have evolved into a "supposed" intelligent race. But Temples and Artifacts found throughout the world that have been dated, and proven to be a lot older than our estimated progress rate of evolution, have been dissmissed by many academic communitys because it doesn't fit in with their perfect model of our progression through time.

"History is written by the winners", and the winners aren't neccessarily the intelligent ones. There seems to be a lot of knowledge that has been forgotten over the eons. Evidence seems to suggest that all the great Sculptures, Temples and Pyramids around the world are a lot older than we've been told, by the "Specialists" in those fields of "Expertise".

The Pyramids at Giza have been estimated to be more like 7-12 thousand years old instead of the more accepted 4 thousand by Egyptologists.

Agree.

We might already have the same information the mayas had, but most of us dont interpret it as the truth since there are too many different (holy) versions of this stories, which doesnt realy makes the hole thing more believable..

For example, an interesting theory is that the great pyramid of giza (6 thousand years old, as I heard) was a library, built to protect information from the periodically occurrence of the great flood (arca noah -> great pyramid of giza).

This story has been adopted by some very popular books written much later. Now, which version should i believe in? In all of them if in any, which only confuses me..

Well its not as far fechted as you might think, but that whole area around the site at Giza Was flooded and the weathering and water marks on the Sphinx suggest it was built way before the great flood 6-7 thousand years ago.

That happened when the last ice age came to an end an the huge sheets of ice covering the whole of the continent of North America melted, and even in some cases caused Sunamis, which would explain some of the Atlanits being wased away stories that Plato wrote about.

No one knows for definate when the Pyramids at Giza were built, but they do know when the last Ice Age ended. One of the Pyramid use stories that I heard was that they were built as electricity conductors, with conductive magnesium stone on the inside and a smooth insulating layer of limestone on the outside. and all 3 Pyramids have there own harmonic resinance, which is supposed to give ppl a feeling of great bliss, and open up pathways to a higher plain of consciousness. ;)

Yup, the sphinx was seemingly supposed to be a lion (big head). But most cats cant swim..

The ice age stuff sound pretty logic.

The mediterranean ocean dryes out every time the water surface of the atlantic ocean goes down a few feet below normal. Which is believed to happen very often in world history.

and all 3 Pyramids have there own harmonic resinance,

Which also could kill bacteria. Good for storing papyrus or making you feel dizzy..

However, the world wont end but mankind will. And we do the job our self. Slowly.

We are now officially 7 Billion humans on this planet. We are the mould of the earth.

Twelvety ;)

Why am I Trolling my own thread? Get out!!!

Sensible answer to Kocher's childish but reasonable question.

The Universe was created when 2 (or more) multi dimensional waves of ______ interacted with each other while oscillating randomly, which was caused by ______.

The resulting collision caused a chain reaction within the fabric of dark energy, which brought matter into what we call existence.

The 21st of December, 2012 to the Mayans is their version of our December 31. It's the last day of what they call the "long count". There IS a 22nd December in their calender, which would be the first day of another long count or Mayan 'year'.

Freaky thing is that the bible says that at the end of times Israel will be an independent nation again after milenia of foreign occupation and that Jerusalem would once again be it's capital. Coincidence?
