Temporal Displacement idea

Recommended Posts

When you hit about 85 MPH, like what happens to the trees in hover mode, happens at 85 mph.

(AS IN: The trees kinda ''blow'' while in hover mode, it happens in the movie, hence Marty's hair kinda blows in the end of BTTF 1.)

it'd just be a waste of coding space for something that you'd see for a fraction of a second, so not worth it.

Aside from that, I can't really imagine this being possible in the first place. If you're thinking of using the code used in helicopters, it's hardcoded -- the vehicle would have to be identified as a helicopter by the game for this to happen.

Also, did the air being pushed away by the temporal displacement blew Marty's hair away from it, or towards it in that scene? Either way, this air ain't that powerful enough to blow away trees. If it was, it would have blown away Marty and Doc from where they were standing in the time travel experiment, and the same will repeat in the rest of scenes where objects or people are nearby when the displacement occurs.

This is, however, more applicable in the re-entry explosions. It did blew away Marty and Jennifer's hair in BTTF1 and 2, and Marty and Jennifer themselves in BTTF3, still it ain't that powerful enough to blow away trees.
