basically whats happened is korea has said to america (and the rest of the world) "leave us alone or we PEW PEW you" and america is going "NUH UH YOU CANT DO THAT COZ IM AMERICA AND IM BETTERER THAN YOU"

Nostradamus is a myth. There was an old woman (deseased), who predicted the economic downfall and the 11th of September, along with the death of a nuclear Minsk submarine. Well she said that there will be peace in 2018, brought by the big 8. Which could mean that the war will not be as violent as some would want.

That was a joke, dude. Not saying I believe on Nostradamus. Yeah, Nostradamus is a myth (his predictions, not the person himself because there's already evidences that he did exist), that's what you and many think, but wouldn't others also think of the same for that woman? Experts predicted the economic crisis some months or a year before that woman did, where they ultimately fail to prevent such a possibility when it did happen, so it is possible to say that that woman may or may not have stolen this idea from them. We could also say she also took the whole 11th of September idea from Nostradamus himself, who presumably predicted the same September 11 attacks decades ahead of her.

I've also thought of that. As a person who can't remove those facts of war I studied at high school from my head and got addicted to Rise of Nations because of it (lol) it will just start a real world war instead of ending what North Koreans think is a war (them VS. US). Do you really expect people who isolated themselves from the world to get any facts straight (like the Cold War ended like years ago) about the world outside them?

North korea is believed to have about 6 nukes, but US has about 30000 troops on the border, so if someone floats up, Washington only has to snap its fingers.

It also might be that Korea wants to hold a ransom, to gain some wiggleroom for their dying economy, I am reminding you, they are on a very low level of socialism.

Really, we wouldn't be able to nuke N. Korea (the U.S. anyways), since some parts of S. Korea (an ally to the U.S.) would experience some fallout from the nuclear explosions (even if the environmental impact is very insignificant).

US won't obviously strike back using nukes, too, when the North Koreans try to. They would prevent another war from occurring as much as possible.

I remember an expert years or months before her saying an economic crisis is possible in their far future if most of us ignore about what's going on in the economic world, and yet we did. And Nostradamus lived around 1503 to 1566, so he predicted the infamous attacks more than 418 years before her. And you have a point there about the "very low level of socialism". North Koreans may not have the technology they need to even belong to our current technological age, but if you observe the leader himself, he uses imported cars and other stuff North Koreans would call "advanced technology", it is as though he's just taking advantage over the country by making himself their god who secretly uses stuff that he forbids his nation to possess or use then in this day he's blaming the same thing for their falling economy...sounds just like our neighbor.

I think they forgot the primary meaning of socialism to move on to communism (the Utopia theory), the closest one to communism are Chinese, and USSR wasn't even close. They bet too much on cold fusion.

AH, COME ON!!! This all is CRYSTAL CLEAR NOW! North Korea has an economic downfall, which is seperate from the world, so it won't be saved if the worldwide economics go BACK up! So what do they do? They beg for money, in a hostile way, I mean, DAMN, first they launch those missiles which fall in the sea, then they take two reporters hostage. Now this. They just want US to help and they don't want to admit their weakness.
