RG 1 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Oh, saw the description, umm... ask iProton?
daangelo29 5 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 I believe iProton only knows Mac software. He knows little on Mac hardware (which is actually similar or have little difference to PC hardware). It's hard to find any PSU by just asking here. Go check out the computer shops there first before putting up a topic like this. Reply you didn't find anything, I may just give you some useful info -- I'm too busy right now so can't help you at the moment other than suggesting

Dan kun je er toch gewoon eentje op Azerty.nl kopen? Edited April 30, 2009 by ArticLight

iMaster 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 (edited) Wo-ho! You just bought it and it burntout? Someone tried to install PC Iron there, my friend. It is almost incompatible. Go to a service center or smth, only they can help. Plus - cheap. Dude, the Power Unit in a Mac is installed directly into the casing, due to the no-over-heat technology. If you want to buy one and install yourself, you will throw away the money spent on both the computer and the power unit. There is no such as cheap in your case, you gotta go to a repair shop which specialises in Macs. Or even better Macs and PCs, they might help you upgrading it. By the way, Which iMac? iMac G3, eMac, iMac G4, iMac G5, Intel iMac or Aluminium iMac? In the case with the last 2 - you should've bought it from an apple reseller, so nothing can help now. iMaster 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 Either way, you need to go to the service shop. They usually have a couple spare parts lying around.
The Washing Machine Mann 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 blue where is a apple shop somewhere in holland? and are PSUS expensive?
iMaster 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 Shouldn't be compared to the price of a brand new Mac Just google something like "Apple repair service (insert your city name here)".
daangelo29 5 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 There is no such as cheap in your case, you gotta go to a repair shop which specialises in Macs True. It is easy to install a Power Supply of a Mac, but that doesn't mean it's cheaper. Also, haven't you tried my first suggestion? ()

iMaster 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 (edited) What's so fun about it, I remember them all. Even the Apple Newton, the second touchscreen (and first so-so famous) tablet in the world. And what did you want? You need to find a department that repairs them. That does so, capiche? Edited May 1, 2009 by iProton
