    Playing HV on many systems is nice, but I think you're working too hard. Is it that necessary to go through all this work? As you go on in life you find that you can't burn a candle at both ends.

    Firmware should be backwards-compatible, but if it isn't, that stinks.

    I have an IDE DVD-RAM Drive Lite-On iHAP222-06 that works. I originally had one that failed, but it was under warranty and I got a RMA and sent it back to them for a new one. However, IDE DVD burners are hard to find these days. If you want a new one, I suggest you buy a SATA one. If you have a serious enough problem and you are under warranty, you could email your manufacturing company's support people and see what they think. It doesn't hurt to try.     You probably can isolate the problems in the code based on when they occur. From that you can determine what needs to be changed.

    If you can't see the Telltale delorean spawn, that problem is just like mine with the bananas. I installed the model, but when I tried to spawn it with RSHIFT + C the game crashed. After that, I just installed a fresh copy of HV with the regular KITT. None of the tutorials on how to install the model worked. They just made my game crash on loading. Oh, well.

    Can you use the same code, only copy the part you need and make another instance of it? Then, replace the certain parts you need to fit the model.

    Are you sure this is a code problem? When I tried to spawn the bananas with a bad model, it crashed. There was nothing wrong with my code. Is there something wrong with your model?
