RobertBlox 112 Report post Posted July 28, 2013 (edited) **This mod was posted in the "Off Topic" section to prevent it from being seen by non-members** Hello! It has been quite a while since I've posted a mod I've worked on here, and thought it would be appropriate to share my most recent one of the DeLorean DMC-12 for GTA IV. To note, this is my first full conversion of a car to GTA IV. Main details: - Car is carcol enabled - Suspension and brake disc parts are functional and are accurate to the DeLorean - Almost every texture has been modified from its original state - There are custom-made textures on this model, made by me - The doors, trunk, engine cover, and hood all open - Indicators on the dashboard for turn signals, headlamps, and rear lamps all work - Full engine has been modeled - Some interior lights go on/off depending on the time of day - Collisions are fully modeled - All glass parts and lights are breakable This mod is currently unreleased. There is no download. These photos are local to this topic ONLY and should not be posted outside of this forum! FINAL Front view [doors closed] Front view [doors open] Rear left view Interior 1 Interior 2 Rear right view Rear view Brakes Reverse Signals Front view w/ signals Front view no signals Engine Interior 3 Trunk Hood1 Interior4 Rear night Exhaust Interior night Front night Interior dash indicators w/ signals on BETA TESTING Parking lights w/out turn signals: Parking lights w/ turn signals Low beam and High beam indicators Dash Turn signal indicators Engine compartment: Door detail: Bullet-hole demonstration: I hope you like my work! Orgcon 11 Report post Posted July 28, 2013 Nice work! Can't wait for an (unofficial) DL link.
RobertBlox 112 Report post Posted July 28, 2013 (edited) Thanks, Orgcon! There's still a few minor things that need adjusting, such as the DMC logos on the wheels and the handling.dat. I won't be publicly releasing this though, so I won't be posting a download link here; however, I may consider releasing it to a few. Of course, the only thing I would require is for those who have it to not post it for download at any location and to not distribute it in any form. RobertBlox 112 Report post Posted July 28, 2013 That is epic! Looks great! Where did you convert this from? It was converted from the game "Driver: San Francisco" Again, it still has some minor issues though.

RobertBlox 112 Report post Posted July 29, 2013 So nice! RobertBlox this is amazing !Cool Thank you bttfsa1stmod and PozitiVBttF! I may also make a BTTF version, but I'm still trying to work out some bugs with the regular DMC-12.
Microman 85 Report post Posted July 29, 2013 Wow... What a coincidence I bought Driver SF 4 days ago and finished it yesterday... Too bad that they made the 83 version of the DeLorean but it's still a very good model... I think that this game is awesome if you want to put some real cars in GTA IV... There is so many good cars in Driver SF! Like the Dodge Charger/Challenger R/T or the Ford Gran Torino and, of course, the DeLorean. You should try to add Doc's nuclear reactor and modify the hood to make a BTTF DeLorean out of this model. Nice work with the conversion !

I also own Driver SF, and it's the main reason why I thought to convert the car. I actually was considering making a BTTF version using parts from the Crysis and Telltale cars once I finish fixing the bugs with the model. Of course, I would modify this one to be a 1981 model. It also couldn't be this car, I haven't released it; however, the model is finished! Now to make a BTTF version...

Microman 85 Report post Posted August 4, 2013 Don't use the TellTale parts... That's an advice. They look... Different and sometimes the parts are even not accurate. You should use the Crysis DeLorean's parts. these parts are ok I think, I always thought that the problem with this model was the car itself, not the BTTF parts. That could be the way to see if I was right X-)
RobertBlox 112 Report post Posted August 4, 2013 It's nice to see the stock car getting done. Thanks, indeed it is! Don't use the TellTale parts... That's an advice. They look... Different and sometimes the parts are even not accurate. You should use the Crysis DeLorean's parts. these parts are ok I think, I always thought that the problem with this model was the car itself, not the BTTF parts. That could be the way to see if I was right X-) My intentions exactly. However, I plan to use some Telltale parts, such as the Mr. Fusion, mainly because there aren't many other good alternatives. StevenLovBttf 42 Report post Posted August 5, 2013 Nice, but who is Bruce? It also couldn't be this car, I haven't released it; however, the model is finished! Now to make a BTTF version... His name is Brucie Kibbutz. He has the BTTF DeLorean in a cutscene where nico comes into his house you can see the DeLorean behind the Sofa If you look very closely. If you can't find it , look for Mr.Fusion.

Sorry, I didn't understand what was said before meant. EDIT: I went back and reviewed the cutscene. It was the one where Niko entered Brucie's apartment and Roman was on the computer, right? I couldn't really see it, so I'll probably go in-game and teleport to the cutscene location to look for it. It would also be helpful if you could post a picture pointing it out. O_O Are you serious? Can you give a picture or something ? I can't give pictures of my actual model yet, but the main reason why I used the Mr. Fusion is because I just can't find any as-good alternatives. RobertBlox 112 Report post Posted August 6, 2013 REQUEST: Hello everyone! I was just wondering if one of you would be able to give me just the Bulova Clock model inside the Telltale DeLorean from a source such as Trance's conversion. The main reason why I'm asking is because when I try to manipulate the Telltale DeLorean model, whether it be Trance's conversion or the actual model, the clock gets skewed into stretched polygons. This is probably due to my graphics card not being able to render it properly. The clock will be used inside my Driver SF DMC-12 BTTF version. I would prefer a mediafire link for download. Thanks!
