daangelo29 5 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 not much you can do with an IP address unless youre really really clever. and i dont think theres anyone that clever here uh...I sent a harmless but annoying virus once to someone really random by knowing his IP address. It's more of a prank call, only worse. Also note that my own IP address was the one that allowed my cousin to hack into my account in the first place, and probably mess with you guys using my moderator account. Good thing that's over. daangelo29 5 Report post Posted April 13, 2009 Victorian DeLorean : It's hard to reach the 88 MPH with that ! Plus the time traveler will turn to ice upon re-entry. yep. i hacked someones hotmail pass using IP - (cause they forgot their pass) Knowing someone's IP won't immediately let you know his/her passwords on his online accounts. If a person's passwords are stored/cached in his/her computer, you can "decipher" them by either getting through his/her browser cache or knowing the information/data he/she sends or uploads -- you have a better luck doing this when his/her account is actually currently online or logged-in.
