gtabttffan 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2010 (edited) Ok, well I made a simple object in 3ds max,(The model isn't the point) and I need to know how to make it a "single object" like sketchup does. Apparently "grouping" or "linking" it all together isn't right. What else do I need to do? Pic: Edited May 9, 2010 by gtabttffan
Mike 214 Report post Posted May 9, 2010 (edited) Modify tab - Attach list - hold down shift and select all of the separate parts, then hit attach. Edit - that is of course assuming you are wanting to export it to GTA .dff Edited May 9, 2010 by Mike Minor adjustment

Dragon King 15 Report post Posted May 9, 2010 you did nothing wrong. for every single face such as a square, you'll have 4 vertices. so the vertice count will always be higher.

Mini-Me 24 Report post Posted May 30, 2010 If I remember correctly DK had problems in his early tries with the collision models being 180° rotated around a point in the corner, maybe you have the same problem?
