3DS Max 2013 Troubles

Hello once again.

I recently got a copy of 3DS Max 2013 student edition and started editing GTA Cars. This proved almost impossible, because any cars I edited came up blank in GTA Garage Mod Manager (even though the finished product looked fine in 3DS Max).

I also recently got my hands on a copy of the DMC-13 for SA, which I managed to edit (I don't know how) successfully by removing the engine texture. However, the wheels of the DMC-13 look like this:

Now I am trying to swap out the error wheels of the DMC-13 for crysis delorean wheels. However, the same problem arises and I have not been able to do it. Even though the attached wheels look fine in 3DS Max, GGMM does not show any model and when I try to spawn it in game, it crashes.

I am using Kam's Max scripts and Ano's scripts.

Can anyone help me with this?

I've had a hard time with 3DS Max myself, so I use Zmodeler.

hello. my good wheels with DMC 13. how do delorean wheels.

1 open with 3ds max.
2 take gta vc delorean.
3 cars send gta sa (Kam's Max scripts)
4 take delorean send col files.
5 final at the game with gta sa. sorry :(

I would use Zmodeler for making cars but 3dsmax is great for making maps... I never tried ZModeler but I heard that putting a car in SA/VC is easier and it also allows to export more detailled cars...

I don't know if what I heard is the truth but I'm saying...

From my experience with Zmodeler, I would definitely agree with it being superior in car mods rather than in map mods. ;)

However, Zmodeler does have its problems. Sometimes it has erased my work at random, though this is rare.

So, is there a tutorial on how to convert VC cars to SA with ZModeler?

you could not do a normal wheel DMC13?
I convert is 5 minutes from the vice city using zmodeler!))

Onikage56/Zero once tried to convert the DMC-13 for SA but we had troubles with the engine I remember...

I remember:

I was driving and sometimes, the engine stopped moving with the car and came out of it and just stayed where it stopped o_o

I removed the engine in my DMC-13. I had problems with it too.
