daangelo29 5 Report post Posted November 15, 2008 Nice. I can install VTP again. I tried it yesterday. Sorry, but, tbh, I like the old better. If you're using Windows XP Service Pack 3, you can't use the old ones.

They come in real handy. Edited November 16, 2008 by Honest Joe Statler

Mike 214 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 No it was from their website i believe....Brico i think it was? That's not where VTP comes from, however it was a module included with VTP8. I myself wouldn't download VTP from anywhere other than JCXP.net New version works just fine for me, though I only have the basic settings on, glass windows and the other flashy stuff just eats away at your system resources. iProton 1 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 Same with flykyteos or whatever the hell it is called "The Mac OS X transformation pack". Don't use it, use WindowsBlinds and manual installations.

The one from Brico is not really Vista Transformation Pack. It's BricoPack Vista Inspirat Ultimate 2 theme pack. It's a different type of vista transformation pack, but unlike the VTP9 from JCXP.net, this one is easy to uninstall and it doesn't require a tougher PC to have it working. I'm currently using the BricoPack. Ever since I've installed SP3, I stopped using VTP. BricoPack was the only one working.
Mike 214 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 The reason I was waiting for VTP9 is because it supports running under Service Pack 3, where as VTP8 did not. Uninstallation of VTP9 is a breeze, it can literally be uninstalled in a couple of clicks.
