bluespace88 9 Report post Posted September 30, 2009 Since Mike's been asking about it, here it is. Took 2 weeks and 3 people to code. Simple really. Just run around, hit each other off the map. Comes with cool music and sfx though. Either can do a local game with stupid AI (they go back and forth spamming punches) or on a network, lan or internet, with anywhere from 2-4 people. Linux only game. Didn't have time to make it multiplatform without crashing in Windows (Darn you Bill Gates!!). And don't think we'll be releasing it because there is so much licensed stuff from Nintendo in it. I somehow find developing our own engine is more satisfying then modding one, lol. Joe Statler 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2009 Well if it's fan-made and you put a disclaimer that says that nintendo owns all material relating to the game and as long as you guys put down that this was a non-profit project, you should be fine for releasing it, right?
