EarthwormJim 1 Report post Posted July 12, 2009 maybe compatibility with firefox plugins? but still thats a pretty good effort making your own web browser, i wouldnt know where to stat if i wanted to do that. and btw you should only use guitar tab as a last resort, learning to play songs by ear is the best way to get better faster

daangelo29 5 Report post Posted July 13, 2009 Visual BASIC? I remember making a web browser of the like with Visual Basic, too. Pretty simple if you know or are familiar with the basic codes, the parts of a basic Windows program, and the term "drag and drop". maybe compatibility with firefox plugins? Seeing that he made this from Visual BASIC, that's not possible unless he transfers to another coding language. As for the tab thing, it is possible if you know what to do. The problem is how many can the browser make in maximum?
crazyjointje 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2009 Ok to answer all your questions and assumptions: This is made for Windows XP and i don't know if it can be used for a pocket PC. I made it with Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition and no i didn't copy or paste any codes, i found out the codes by myself and by common sense. I don't know if i'm gonna update it with some tabs and favorites and stuff like that. And thanks to the people who downloaded and tried the program XD. crazyjointje 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2009 Cool. And remember i didn't make this to replace other webbrowsers, i made this because i often see that people experience problems with their regular webbrowser. Mine's just an alternative, you could say a ''back-up''. I'm still learning to code and i'll be making more programs soon.
