It's either an actor-to-cameraman coordination or he is really a playful kid who acts like he can command the cameraman around like he's the director. Either of the two, because the cameraman did come closer when he did it. If you're really a good observer, you would have noticed this, too, than just immediately call him a pervert. This is also the case for many old TV shows and movies, where the actor is literally instructed to coordinate with the cameraman, especially when they're rushing the show/movie to meet with the deadline or the director clearly has no time to tell the cameraman where each and every spot the camera should be or should be moving to (which suggests that the actor knows best for this matter than the cameraman). Nowadays, I'm not sure if this actor-to-cameraman coordination thing is ever repeated, or cameramen are now wise enough to know where the camera should be.
