    And if you have V1 of San Andreas then try installing the mod manually. That worked for me.

    It's my laptop. I have little lag but it's annoying since i'm a good shot. On my PC Half Life 2 works just fine.

    Still better than mine. I start lagging when i start Half Life 2. Just about when the background flashes in i start lagging.

    I allready know that Mike, but that also means you gotta have a good soundcard and i don't have a good soundcard. The sound f**kes up that way. I get much clearer sound using the microphone.

    Engine wise i go for SA, but for the looks i go with VC. I think the mod is more stable in SA. Plus it got more coding space.
