  1. Definitely fake... If you notice, the chat on the top left repeats after a while.
  2. Happy Birthday Mike! :)

Wow, and the first comment, too. Lol.

  3. Wow! Those wheels look as new as... Well, as new as a new DeLorean's! WIsh I had that car... - RobertBlox
  4. I'm actually not quite sure, as I haven't tried them out yet. When I get around to it, I'll tell you. Or you ask Goingnowherefast. - RobertBlox
  5. Thanks GNF! Though I'm probably going to leave VC as is for a little while as I enjoy IV.
  6. Thank you ever so much, but where would I install these? Would they go at the end? Also, wouldn't I have to call them somewhere in order to activate them in-game?
  7. Wow, nice job gtavicecity! I would add the lettering on the tires though. [Goodyear, Eagle GT] It would be awesome to have those on the old DeLorean model while we're waiting for 0.2f! Thanks for showing all of us! Your friend, - RobertBlox
  8. 88 Posts! :D Now I'm a Time Traveler!

  9. Whoops! I just reinstalled Sanny Builder. The funny thing is that now I get no error. Thanks for your help, though! Now it's time for me to edit the main! >
  10. Nonetheless, it makes more sense scientifically, right? :3
  11. Exactly, that's the thing. It only works during lift-off, but what I'm saying is that it should work even after lift-off when it is in fly mode. Although in retrospect, it didn't have the thrust in the scene when it was struck by lightning and left the "99" trails.
  12. Hello. I'm just wondering in 0.2f if we could have the code included for the thrust when you hit the up arrow key after converting to fly mode. If I am correct, you can see it in the BETAs of 0.2e (which is in this video):
  13. Great, I just wanted to make sure you knew just in case. Also, I did set the installation properly to my GTA VC under the C Drive. The thing is that the main.scm does open in Sanny Builder, but upon compiling the file I end up getting errors in multiple locations where it says "Expected 2 parameters" The odd thing is that I also did not edit those areas either. To make sure I didn't do something wrong, I opened the main again and pressed compile without changing any of the lines.... Still, no luck! I guess it's another problem with Win-64 bit computers...
  14. Nope, no model changes. The only changes I made were the vest and minor changes to the jean jacket. All I did was use the Tommy Vercetti Country Club Outfit because it flips the torso texture.
  15. Marty Mcfly (1985 with vest) skin redone! You can watch the video below or look at the first post from this thread.
  16. Thank you for your interest in my addons. Unfortunately, everytime I try to edit the main.scm with Sanny Builder, it tells me there is some unknown variable in the main that won't allow it to be editable by the user. So as an alternative, everytime I get a wanted level, I just type in the cheat: leavemealone In addition to this, I'm not sure how to edit the speedo from the main.scm, but I have edited speedos for SA such that you no longer require fuel! Lastly, it is unfortunate, but I do not have any sort of file sharing account. If I did, I would have to ask for proper permissions from Carlos85G (for the DeLorean models) and such before releasing my textures, retextures, and addons. ------------ For pointers, all I can say is that you should take out an hour or two once a week to work on these mods. - Within this hour, use tools such as the IMG tool to extract skins such as the "Casual" T-shirt Marty Mcfly skin. - Then, use a TXD editor to export the texture as a .bmp image and edit it using a program such as Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.NET, or something along those lines. - Make sure you have HD photos available from the movie, or photos of accessories such as Marty's Casio watch or of the DeLorean's rear lamps. - Some textures (such as the DeLorean license plates, rear lamps, etc) you will have to make on your own by looking at other photos. This is where you will have to have a lot of patience because mistakes will be made. - Once you do that, get familiar with the GTA Mod Installer. Look at a few installscript_gtavc.txt files to learn how they work. Then, try making a test of your own. - Once you have mastered making Mod Installer scripts, you will be abble to add your files to the game with the click of a button! ------------ I believe that's all I can really say regarding that. I'll edit this post if I think of anything else. Good luck, - RobertBlox
  17. I guess so, but it wouldn't make much of a difference anyway. Besides, it's not like we're able to get to 130 mph easily as it is. Lol. Also, didn't the DeLorean Time Machine have some performance upgrades "to give it a little extra kick!" Wouldn't this make up for the loss from the components (and if not go a little beyond)? -------- Still, thanks for posting, I appreciate it! - RobertBlox
  18. I actually have come to believe it is a problem with Windows 7 or my video card. The funny thing is, when I installed VC on my Win7, I didn't have any audio hardware to go along with the missing reflections. In order to fix this, I had to install it on an old Win-32 bit computer and copy all of the necessary audio hardware components to my VC directory. Also, rain reflections work on the 32 bit computer, so this is an obvious indication that it is something related to either the system or the video card. I guess I'll just have to leave it as is, or find a rain reflections mod... :3 - RobertBlox
  19. PLEASE NOTE! Did anyone notice that I didn't have any rain reflections when it was raining? On my computer, I am always unable to see the Vice City rain reflections. Does anyone know why this is?
  20. Yeah, I know. Still, it does add some weight. Thanks for the tips, and thanks for posting Mike! EDIT: Do you think there would be a possibility you could implement these handling edits into 0.2f? I know it's a little out there, but it's worth asking, even if you do say no.
  21. Thanks Mike! I guess I should make some changes then. Lol. EDIT: Problem solved. All DeLoreans now have a max speed of 132 mph. I couldn't get 130 on the dot, so I'll settle with 132 and call it a night.
  22. I've edited the handling.cfg such that you now have a max speed of 120 mph and acceleration from 0-60 in 5 seconds! See my post Here Thank you, - RobertBlox
  23. Hello everyone, Ever wanted to have a max speed of 130 mph and an acceleration speed from 0 to 60 in 8 seconds? Well, wait no more! After a long time experimenting with the handling.cfg file, I've been able to change all of the DeLoreans' max speeds to 132 with an acceleration speed from 0 to 60 in 8 seconds! Video: Changes made: - Max speed of 132 on all DeLoreans - Accelerates from 0 to 60 in 7-8 seconds - Incandescent bulbs for the headlights (slightly more yellowish that white) - Changed size of rear lamp lighting from small to long only on the DMC-12 (the little red box for the brake lights is now covering all of the brake lights) Hope you like it, - RobertBlox Links: See RobertBlox's BTTF: HV Addons version 1 Here See RobertBlox's BTTF: HV Addons version 2 Here EDIT: The Hill Valley map in the video is from 0.2e R1. The version I have is 0.2e R2, but I changed some of the map files such that I would have the R1 Hill Valley. EDIT[2]: Thanks to Mike for information on some correct statistical data regarding the DeLorean's specs.
