FUTD 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2009 no, but maybe i should. its 17,000 polys. is that too much? 17k polys is quite high. An average rockstar made car is 3k polys. You would be best importing a basic model like a cube etc just to make sure its not your technique. I've never got anything to import either. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Mike 214 Report post Posted December 1, 2009 As a comparison I believe Liams clocktower model is up at around 40k-50k poly's. 17k does seem high for a bit of train track though.... See if you can find the vcloadingscreen.asi file anywhere on the net, if you have that in your VC directory it will show you the files that are being loaded when you start a new game, should help you narrow down the problem.
