  1. Indeed, i work as a computer technician, and i have three theories about your problem: 1- Your graphics adapter is bad, either turning up heat real fast or, just with some electric components with physical problems. 2- Your chipset has broken trails, in this case, i'd recommend sending to an authorized assistance 3- Video drivers are corrupted, and when you turn on some video software, it loads the codecs corruptedly into memory, causing an overload, that's why the screen goes blank, it kills the video, in corrupts the drivers that are loaded into the memory, and tries not to hang the system, so when it goes into a loop like this, the system automatically shuts down to prevent hardware damage, in this case, i'd try downloading the newest vdeo drivers, uninstalling the current ones, and reinstalling with the newly downloaded ones, rebooting, and if it fixes, it fixes. Note: theory TWO, if true, can cause the symptoms of theory ONE, which by itself, can cause the symptoms of theory THREE, that include drivers corrupting and GPU overheating. i hope i helped a little
  2. You're right there will be no vid, sorry, i stumbled upon a terrible truth, one can't make scm paths in vice city, i'm gonna have to find a new way to make the actor follow the stored coordinates and angles.
  3. I don´t remember who said that it would be impractical because it would be needed lots of variables and loops, causing a memory overload, well, that´s exactly what i´m doing, but, in order to prevent memory overload, i´m renewing the variables at each loop, i only store the players actions once, then delete everything out of memory and store them in an actual file, this every 5 minutes, so the file would weight only a few K´s and the actions would be stored. Uhm i´m releasing a few vids soon enough for you guys.
  4. I'm actually working on this, adding another player model besides the one you control is a piece of cake, i've done it hundreds of times, and yes, you wouldn't be able to alter the events, but the coolness of this all is that you can actually see yourself in the past!
  5. Actually, a memory hack written in C could do the job, but it´d be laggy, but at least it will add the feature to the game.
  6. Sorry guys, i know this has already been discussed thousands of times, but i have an idea that can be practical Actually, it is possible to record the player´s actions and replay them, or else, we couldn´t save and load replays, HA! make a program that continuasly saves replays, with the date attached to them in some way, then another prgram, that loads the replays and make them happen "time-wise", that way you could see yourself doing crazy stuff and all. the problem would be to play replays from another person´s perspective, only the actors, cars, and the important data should be saved/loaded, this can be done, and should.
  7. That's it, i would really like to see some missions about things that don't actually appear in the movie, but you know they happened, like taking doc home, after he passes out upon seeing marty returned from the future, in the second movie, so that you have to drive Doc's car to his home, and it's a hell of a storm, the track is like soap, you can't see nothing ahead, things like that would make the game funnier to play. The skate mission is also a good idea, or maybe going to the Hills with Jennifer in the truck, at the end of the third movie, having to race (or not) Needles, that would be cool.
