  1. looks good man, you should really try 3ds max tho... what version of sketchup are you using? I can put it in game for you if you want, IF you have the sketchup pro
  2. read this.... For a few very loyal car owners, however, six years isn't much. Take Irv Gordon, whose 1966 Volvo P1800 made the Guinness Book of Records in 1998 for its incredibly high mileage. Gordon, the car's original owner, has now logged more than 2.6 million miles on trips and in daily driving. In interviews, Gordon attributed his car's extreme longevity to regular maintenance and his use of genuine Volvo parts. Then there's Wisconsinite Peter Gilbert, who has logged more than a million miles in his 1989 Saab 900 SPG. MSN reports the durable vehicle, now on display in a museum, still features its original engine and turbocharger. And let's not forget that domestic cars hit the million-mile mark just as often as their foreign competitors. In 2008, Frank Oresnik (coincidentally, another Wisconsinite) was just short of hitting the million-mile mark in his 1991 Chevrolet Silverado truck. Left Lane News reports that the truck has gone though four radiators, three gas tanks, five transmissions and six water pumps, but never a new engine. lol thats crazy... crazy.. but true source: http://autos.aol.com/article/million-mile-cars/
  3. One major problem with deloreans with low mileage.... (I would know cause our original 1981 has 20,000 miles on it and I go to college for automotive system technology) is that 99.9 % of the time when a delorean or any car that old sits for 26 years... is that things degrade almost as bad as if you drove it. Although they may of changed fluids. ( or not ) "The belts, hoses, clamps, wires and just about everything except maybe the oil (but hey, that might be original oil in the crankcase we can't say for sure) are all as installed by those Irish assembly line workers almost three decades ago We did install new spark plugs" if they say they don't know the oil is changed then it isnt. that is not good rubber deteriorates from sitting the hose may look ok, but its the inside that counts. ( it usually eats away from the inside, then cracks on the outside, then leaks coolant and overheats the engine really bad on an all aluminum engine that will warp easily because aluminum is soft ) in other words... blown head gaskets tend to happen after the engine overheats too much ( and any temperature too high is too much) then loss of compression, the antifreeze seeps past the water jackets into oil in the pan, that will completely destroy the prv v-6 and lock it up tighter than heck (hydrolock). next on the list is gasoline or petrol, (what ever you call it) turns into a thick varnish over time that clogs injectors, it makes then engine run like "poo" (technical term) unused gas starts turning into varnish when setting for a period of a month... then gets worse.. big problem in other words in a practical sense.. the car is not worth THAT much... BUT could be if all those issues we're adressed before purchase.. which wont happen... I pity the sucker that buys that car (at least for $49,900.00) cause he/she better have even more money and be prepared to make the repairs.. believe me.. I know this from experience. lol thats just the pesemistic side of it but, it may run for a little bit if it cranks at all. just my two cents.
  4. Sorry I keep showing clock tower pics but I am still practicing, but am FAR better than I was (keep in mind only been modeling since the beggining of this week) Micro man I must give very much credit to for his help on this one... he made the stairs on it, the rest I made on the 1885 model. Before I start making generic houses for the mod (if I am allowed to) I wanted to maximize my skills here we are.... http://i882.photobucket.com/albums/ac24/ch...88/1885bttf.jpg P.S. Ignore the lamp posts Haven't completely removed them yet
  5. HMM, haven't thought of that before.. good idea I probably won't release this, unless someone wants it (I'm doing it for practice) here http://i882.photobucket.com/albums/ac24/chico688/clock.jpg
  6. thanks guys, really appreciate the support! actually working on a new clocktower, but I am probably NOT going to release it, unless someone really wants it.. due to the fact, they have already made one. I just was bored with the one from 0.2e, and I am really just trying stuff out getting used to 3dsmax. I will be more than happy to make stuff by request, add me on msn, tell me what you want and i'll make it, I've got getting it in game and texturing thanks to.... Mike, Microman, Evil morning Operator, and Bttf Forever.. thank you guys in you're continued support and help. It means alot. could NOT of done/learned this with out you guys
  7. My gosh, I hope it won't be like DNF, being that its no longer in production
  8. http://i882.photobucket.com/albums/ac24/ch.../ingamewoot.jpg In game woot! just need to fix glitches
  9. dude awesome! I'd like to recruit you for texture work for my models ( I don't how to texture my models) that would be awesome. edit: here are some textures for the school http://i882.photobucket.com/albums/ac24/ch...88/hsrender.jpg
  10. yeah, i'll probably do that here in a minute... here is some more progress pics with the new high school in game.... I remodeled it, and with mikes help... its back in game.. It is scaled better and isn't laying on its back http://i882.photobucket.com/albums/ac24/chico688/hillv.jpg
  11. Ok, here are some progress pics... Mike helped me get Hill Valley high in game, still needs to be scaled and turned right side up
  12. sounds good I am also working on twin pines ranch, got the farm house almost ready and working still on the barn, I will post pics later.
  13. No, I will tell what he wanted but not on the forums.... because there are... well.. minors. but yeah anyways. I use gmax.. it is a pain in my butt. It will give me a .dff BUT it crashes vc. I talked to trance on Msn he said it is more than likely the fact that I was not using a collision file. (also hadn't made the ipl and ide files yet) so I put the .ide and .ipl in the folder I made and the instead of the loading bar crashing in the middle... it now crashes towards the end. so I from what I can tell, that made a difference but i dunno how to make a collision file correctly, any ideas? oh.. and I don't have 3ds.. too poor :'(
  14. oops too late.... found out... you wouldn't believe the mess I went through.... but I'd rather not talk about it unless you really wanna know... and I REALLY think you DON'T.... wish I hadda got that warning before. oh and about med or ked... I probably should have worded that better.... I won't have problems adding it to the map. It is getting it converted to .dff properly without vice city crashing at the loading bar. I just know there is a step I am missing, any help would be appreciated... just add my email from my profile to msn messenger. thanks in advance.
  15. Its ok buddy sure I wouldn't mind starting on that, I'll start now, I still am having LOTS of problems getting them in game though. if anyone wants to help add me on msn, I'll be sure to let anyone get a copy of the models if I can get it in game. thanks.
  16. yes! thank you, I really would love how to learn to do that, its been on my "to learn" list for a loooooong time now, thank you!
  17. Thanks everybody, Im gonna definatly try to make some more models (that haven't been used yet) I will keep you guys updated... thanks for the support!

  19. Well thank you Jen, thats more in the line of what I was expecting hear haha. I would be more than happy to model something different since you put it that way..... thanks
  20. dude..... it was for personal use. I just wanted to show it. jeeze. Whats with the hostility honestly dude.... If I thought it was usable I would of said so. Did I? No, Their model is obviously better than mine, but It doesn't mean you have to assume that I want them to use it.
  21. I had something I thought I would like to share. It is my first model in Gmax so please be easy on me. It is the 1985 Hill valley Clock tower. It took about 4 hours to get to the place that I am at, (mainly because I have never used gmax) the only problem is I have no idea on how to get it in game, I don't really know how Kam's max scripts work for vc. thanks http://s882.photobucket.com/albums/ac24/ch...=clocktower.jpg
  22. well I was specifically talking about the people who complain about mods, not people complaining about just anything but ok, I guess I should of been more specific in what I typed. sorry
