♠Grim♂ Reaper 1666◙ 17 Report post Posted August 14, 2012 so far i used safe mode to disable startup items which means that so far the virus can't activate, i am now running a scan using avast free and installing spyhunter to hopefully track it down i hope there is someone who can help me thanks. Doc-Holliday- 47 Report post Posted August 14, 2012 if that don't take care of the virus you can use hijackthis, SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware or ComboFix I'm pretty sure if that video can't remove it these tools can. good luck! ♠Grim♂ Reaper 1666◙ 17 Report post Posted August 14, 2012 well hopefully the virus can be tracked down, i think it is in the startup items somewhere because of the fact that by using safemode to stop the startup items loading it allowed me into my computer in normal mode. its been nearly 5 hours since i started the scan and it is only on 9%, but its better to let it pick through the computer whacking viruses with slegdehammers then to do a quick scan and have the virus where a fake beard to escape detection.
