How do I say this lightly... it's a decent build. However, for modern games, your CPU will not be as good as it could be.. especially on CPU intensive games like GTA IV.. As a budget build it may do the job fairly well. Your GPU will kick ass every single time and can in fact make up for the lack of a strong CPU... It's a decent budget build :)

You don't have to say it lightly haha. I appreciate it though. Indeed it was a budget build and i'm hoping to get some good frame rates. I have never even attempted to run IV on any of my other computers so compared to anything i have it's amazing. You all will indeed be seeing videos i'll be filming so i suppose we'll all see.

And thanks!

The CPU is no big deal. Not all apps are CPU-intensive. Games like GTA IV only become CPU-intensive usually when they are poor ports from the consoles. Overall it's a decent build.

As for budget, well, it ain't considered a "budget" build by people from around here. :P

I'm upgrading this machine to a 8 MB Quad Core Processor and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 GDDR5 2DVI/Mini HDMI PCI-Express video card. I'm hoping this will get me better frame rates on modern games. Any thoughts?

Ok, so it's actually gonna be a 6 MB quad core. I installed the new GPU today. WOW, what a difference. Double the frame rates at double the resolution. Can't wait for the CPU to get here. I can tell it's struggling a bit.
