hscitpe 6 Report post Posted October 13, 2010 OK, so I just installed my GTA San Andreas for the first time in God knows how long, but as soon as I get to the Main Screen, it just crashes. I have no mods on it, and it's version 2.0, not yet downgraded. I'm running Win 7, but when I tried to run it in Compatibility Mode as XP SP 2, it didn't even get to the first spash screen before shutting off. Any ideas gang? hscitpe 6 Report post Posted October 13, 2010 But it's not an issue with the Mod, just an issue with the raw game.....

hscitpe 6 Report post Posted October 14, 2010 Yeah, that's what I meant, there's no files in there, just two empty folders.
Dragon King 15 Report post Posted October 14, 2010 oh weird. I'm experiencing something similar with Silent Hunter 5. Worked for 5 minutes, crashed and event though I reinstalled several times. It crashes when I try to load any new game or saved game.

Joe Statler 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2010 (edited) Turn off Aero, that's what I had to do on my laptop. If that doesn't work you could try using Gamebooster to shut off any unnecessary processes that may be causing a confliction.
