Hover Lightning Strike-Time Circut Malfunction

I wanted to ask how the time circuts could randomize, either in the past or 1880s so that way it is more accurate (maybe random opticode or watev?) because I am not sure...just an idea!

yeah but isnt there like a random code or opticode that can set the time circuts to a certain point cuz idk how cuz in the movie the time circuts malfunction while he is getting struck by lightning and I want it to be in normal condition

They where already damaged at that point. So it's already accurate. Damage them first.
