Biff rage

Recommended Posts

Just how far would Biff really go to catch Marty? I've been wondering that for a while now.

Consider that he was in his 20s, more or less. Excluding the tunnel scene in part 2, where people argue Biff was given more of a villain personality than the big dumb school bully, he was ready to squash Marty against the manure truck in part 1. What if Marty didn't pull off that skate-under-car stunt, would Biff really be that stupid/angry to actually kill him in front of dozens of people?

Yes. Then he be in jail and Marty is erased. At least Marty's parents would live lives without him bothering them anymore.

Remember Biff is the grandson (or great-grandson) of Buford, who had no moral compass. It has been proven that aggression is genetic.

Wouldn't this also cause a paradox? Because if Marty was erased from existence, who would go back and interfere with his parents' meeting and the whole love-at-first-sight to ensure Marty is indeed erased? Sounds like a grandfather paradox.

I guess Marty and Doc were unaware of the whole paradox thing in that moment, but because Marty found a way to make them fall in love and save his own existence, this paradox si prevented in BTTF1.

Nothing is certain because if that logic was followed BTTF 2 couldn't have happened. Biff prevented BTTF1 when he changed history with the almanac. How could Doc make the Del when he was committed? Even if he did, Marty wouldn't of known about it. Or travel back in time.

BTTF2 followed the split timeline theory, where the timeline splits to another timeline to respond to the changes in history, thus what Doc was explaining in the blackboard in his ruined garage in 1985A.

Note that Biff did mention about sending Marty to Switzerland, suggesting there is ANOTHER Marty, who is in Switzerland, and ANOTHER Doc, possibly in the mental hospital, existing in 1985A while the original Marty and Doc co-exist with them, which SHOULD be the case of the split timeline theory. But if this theory is to be applied, paradoxes should never exist at all because when timeline splits the original timeline, which is where the traveler's reason to change history completely, his existence and himself originated and existed, remains existing but "frozen in time" because time no longer flows there. The paradox should only occur if these 3 factors are erased or eliminated.

The BTTF universe is heck of a world to be proving it's all real or scientifically true.

Note that Biff did mention about sending Marty to Australia or something like that,

Switzerland, to quote, "Your suppose to be in Switzerland you little Son of a B***!"
