  1. anyone have an indepth knowledge of circuit boards here?

I've got 2 months of time to kill, so I figured I'd start on a summer project....namely, a replica of the TCs. Well, not really a replica, because I'm not going in depth like Gary's, namely with a keypad, ect. because I wouldn't know how to program the circuits. D: Anyways, appaerantly from what my dad has said (and he's an Electrical Engineer for work, so I trust what he says), i would need a 9 "something" circuit board for each of the lines of time data, and he said I would need alot of "display drivers" and things. My dad isn't big on explaining things. I'm semi-srs about this project, and I have some cash to blow, so I figured, why not? And here I am asking you guys.

Any info on this would be really appreciated. Thanks!

  2. Just saw the movie last night, I think it was better than the two Star Wars prequels Lucas made, I haven't seen a really great stand alone Sci Fi movie in a long time, so this was a refreshing change for me. I highly recommend it to you all.

Below is a discussion for people who have seen it, it's in spoiler tags because i don't want to spoil it OMG.

I thought that the romance between Spock and Ahora was abit unnecessary, however it did add another emotional dimension to Spock's complex thought process. I also loved the Hoth-like planet too, though I missed the part where Kirk fought the giant snow...thing that there was in the trailers! I walked out and had to talk to my mom about how much longer it was going to be. Leo Nimoy also did a great job portraying older Spock, and I like to think that there are actually two Spocks in the actual Star Trek series filmed in the 60s. XD Too bad they couldn't do more with each other.

All in all, a great movie, definitely a Must-Own on DVD/Blu Ray.

    You didn't spell Uhura right.

  3. Jaden's feet are stuck in teh ground, DK. XD

HEY, here's an idea. Make a.......

    I'm Rosh by the way!

Police model/skin. I could dig into the .pk3s and find some Rosh dying and yelling at things noises.

And a quick btw....how does one go about doing this?

    Another QQ.....

Do you play Lugormod? Base? JA+? MB2? OJP? What?

  4. Do you guys need anything...miscellaneous modeled at the moment? Or are you guys covered? I usually work on max related projects, and so far I've been able to make Pencils, Tanks, Bowls, Hats, and I'm working on a spaceship at the moment. My teacher encourages building other things deviating from the tutorials we use, so (and I'm sorry if I'm stepping on your toes Mark, I know this is also your area too), if you need anything modeled prop wise or scenery wise, I can see what I can do.

  5. Yup.

The final boss battle was a bit hard, especially when Henry goes to make that instant kill move where he stabs you with his beam sword, tosses you to the air, and other crap that happens after that which bugs me more than anything else in that battle.

Also I remember unlocking the Bitter difficulty setting after finishing the game. I haven't tried it yet, and I don't think I will in the future, unless I go buy my own Wii and my own copy of the game or we are invited to his house again (which I doubt we would be).

I didn't give him an opening for that insta-kill move you're talking about. :P

I hear in Bitter mode it takes like, 200 hits to kill him.

  6. The game that spoofs everything, lol, appaerantly even got in a small BTTF cameo towards the last 10 seconds of the game.

    *SPOILERS!*

When you view the true ending of the game, and the credits roll after Travis and Henry (your twin brother) have been fighting, Silvia comes out and says "i know, too bad their won't be a sequel!" but then BTTF esque music plays and a To Be Continued pops onto the screen, exact font and everything. It made me lolshout.

The amount of make like a tree, and get outta here this game copies, Star Wars, Terminator, Back to the Future, lolz, i'm surprised they didn't get sued. XD

Here's the video if you want to watch.

    *SPOILERS END HERE*

The whole movie's pretty good, lol, but the BTTF cameo is at like 8:18 ish.

  7. well seeing as CamHack doesn't work well..at all..with BTTFHV, that's probably the next best thing for movie making.

Unless, of course, you can create a mouse operated moving camera while in a vehicle. I'd really like that. I requested it in .2e forums but it was shot down.

  8. I have a request. Can you make 2f . . . you know . . . not suck?

    >_>

    *runs*

    LOL!!!!!!!

I have a question. If this is a speed machine...why are we carrying it to the street?

    ....

    .....

    .......

    What?

But yea, actually I like that idea about the whole "speedometer only in time machines idea", in my opinion, speed in the DeLoreans is the only place you'd need it from.
