  1. Whoops! Sorry about not remembering you made them. I must say, though that they're very nice and I much prefer them over the standard ones. You really out-did yourself with that. - RobertBlox
  2. Thanks for the compliment. The particle files took a couple of hours to perfect, so I'm glad people like them. The 1985 Marty Mcfly skin took about an hour to make itself, so I'm glad that it came out the way it did after all of that work. - RobertBlox
  3. Oh, the fonts. I actually did not make the fonts you see in the video, but I found another fonts.txd file on Google and replaced the fonts.txd file. It was a while ago, though. I don't really remember exactly where I found the file, but I believe it may have been on Moddb. Just look up BTTF HV fonts, or something like that. - RobertBlox
  4. The fog lights? They're not on... I only have the two main headlamps that were on in the movie lit up.
  5. I think you should remove the link above is what I meant. xD
  6. Whoops, sorry about that Leaf. I will remove it right now. Thanks for the heads up. The new one you see here is exactly 500 x 150 pixels now.
  7. Wow! That looks very good!
  8. I just searched up "BTTF HV 0.2e Add-ons" on Google and found it. Here is the link to the add-ons: http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/f4146...lley-02e-addons By the way, if you want to see my new particle effect changes, you can go here: http://www.bttfhillvalley.co.uk/forum/inde...st=0#entry74748 You can also see the Mr. Fusion radar in the video in my post. - RobertBlox
  9. This video features edits to the Back to the Future: Hill Valley mod that were added on by me, RobertBlox. Changes that I made include: New 1985 Marty Mcfly skin (from the end of BTTF 1) to replace Tommy Vercetti's "Street" skin New Custom Radio stations. New Time Circuits Off Sound New Custom Particle effects that include: - New generic corona lighting textures - New front headlight beam textures to get rid of the glare - New coil corona lighting - New flame textures with a slight glowing feel to them - Changes to tire skid marks - Slight changes to water reflections Please note that there is no download link available for these add-ons and that the new files were made completely by me. One reason why I edited the particle.txd is because I couldn't stand the glare from the headlights and had to get rid of them. I also wanted a more realistic 1985 Marty Mcfly skin than those offered over the internet. In addition to this, whenever I looked at the front coil lighting, it was too obvious that there were multiple lights that made it up. To fix this, I made a new corona light texture that was thicker and more saturated which would make it look more as if it were one whole. On the other hand, I had no real reason to change the flame texture. I just thought that by layering an image of a real flame with an added glow effect would look nice. Tell me what you guys think. Thank you for viewing, - RobertBlox EDIT: Version 2 of these add-ons can be found Here Handling.cfg edits can be found Here
  10. Lol, thanks. You should probably remove that from this thread, though. xD
  11. I will do the subscribe to you, too. By the way, I tried using both programs, but FRAPS seems to be the only one that works well. The only problem is that it's not free, so I can't record more than 30 seconds... Lol. Do you happen to know of any good free ones? If not, no worries. Yeah, I'm too cheap to spend money on a recording software...
  12. Very nice work gtavicecity, but have you seen the Mr. Fusion Radar from the 0.2e Addons package? I would highly recommend it.
  13. I respect you very much Dragon King, especially because of what Thyncho said. Although, maybe if we're all respectful and nice to everyone no matter who we believe they may be or what they have said then they will be respectful back. That's what I try to live by. So maybe if you're nice to Leaf, she'll be nice back. As Doc Brown would say to Marty, "You can't change what's in the past, but you can change what's in the present... Unless you have a Flux Capacitor." That and it's not so healthy to continuously have arguments over the web.
  14. Thank you for telling me that. The link to my youtube is below with my signature, and my name there is also RobertBlox. [it currently says: "Go to: RobertBlox's Youtube"]
  15. Those are very nice particles! By the way, could you tell me what program you used to film those videos? I too edited the particle files for better time travel and overall lighting effects and wanted to upload a video of it.
  16. Well, yes you could work with those models, too. I was mainly speaking BTTF-wise, though. I also very much liked your volcano. That was pretty nice!
  17. By the way Leaf, I have noticed that you have been working on the BTTF: LC mod and that you are an expert C++ programmer. I would like to congratulate you on your great work over there. Also Trance, your BTTF: HV Telltale conversion work looks very excellent and almost (if not) flawless so far. It would be very cool if there was more stuff you could work with from Telltale, though. And Thyncho, I have seen your modeling work on your 1955 Hill Valley so far and must say that you are very talented and know what you're doing. Blue, I have also seen your many improvements towards the coding and effects in the GTA VC and SA editions of the mod. The capabilities you have are amazing, much like most others here. For others of you that I did not mention yet here, you too have done some great work and I admire and respect all of you. Thanks again for being so welcoming, - RobertBlox
  18. Wow, first few days here and I've already met a lot of great people! Thank you for the very warm welcome guys. I'm sorry that I don't reply to your posts so quickly, but as with us our lives are very important, too. Oh, yes. Blue, the coding project I was working on was on a DeLorean model I made on the ROBLOX site. I was coding it to have turning wheels, working doors, lights, etc. Before taking the project off the public view, I have completed a Time Travel code that changes a Time of Day value, much like HV. I also completed a fly-conversion code to change the BTTF 2 car along with engine failure codes, etc. This was all done in LUA though, which is a much less complicated programming language than ones such as Python, Java, and C++. Thank you for being interested, though. Thanks everyone, - RobertBlox
  19. Thank you for the welcome RG. Is it okay with you if I call you RG? Also, thank you Leaf for sending me that link to information about the mod, but I've already read that before. Though I appreciate your hospitality. Although, I don't believe this is hell... Nope, this is Hill Valley all right.
  20. Here's the video I made if you would like to see it.
  21. Thank you! It's ironic that you were the first to invite me because I actually made a video that was inspired by your avatar. The video is titled "Roxbury to the Future..." and well... I'll leave it at that. Thanks for inviting me once again, - RobertBlox
  22. Hello everyone, my name is RobertBlox. To kick-off this new topic, I hope I put this in the right place. If not, please excuse me since I am new. Additionally, I am a big BTTF fan and a fan of the mod (much like the rest of you). Hence, that's why I'm here. For the past few years I have very much admired the work of the mod team and all of this site's members towards the completion of the BTTF HV conversion. I also just recently aquired Vice City and installed the mod. So where did I get my name?: In 2008, I joined a site called ROBLOX where I intended on coding a game very similar to the Back to the Future: Hill Valley mod. I created the name, "RobertBlox," because of "Ro" and "Blox." I look forward to a great time here for all of us together. - RobertBlox
  23. Hey Torque5!

Remember me, RobertBlox? Well, I finally got a BTTF HV account and decided to drop in and say hi. I hope your acting is going well and hope to see you on the big screen someday!
