  1. There seems to be a problem with your download... Oh well.

Anyway, the song selection is not bad, but perhaps staying within the 1950 - 1955, 1980 - 1985, and/or 2000-2015 range for a single radio station would make more sense for the game. ;)

  2. Although you haven't played in a while Dave27, I wanted to point out that if you look closely at the flame trails after the BTTF 1 car Time Travels (at 7:39), you will notice that it isn't just a glow (which the old one was) but has an actual flame texture inside it, too. :P

If I could make the video quality a little better it would be easier to notice...

  3. Thanks Blue for your comments. :)

I understand that it was the best you could do with the particle limit, but it still came out great though, even with this minor problem. I just tend to be a little crazy about these little things. Lol.

I myself wouldn't have ever been able to code anything close as to what you were able to do here and in multiple other places.

Also, I do know that the flames or plasma are supposed to be glowing, but I should have been more specific with what I said before.

What I meant was that I got a texture of a real flame and added a glow to it so it would look nice in-game. The thing I didn't like about the old flames was that they didn't actually have a real flame texture in them, but were just a glow.

    Thank you once again,

  4. I just searched up "BTTF HV 0.2e Add-ons" on Google and found it.

Here is the link to the add-ons: http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/f4146...lley-02e-addons

By the way, if you want to see my new particle effect changes, you can go here:

You can also see the Mr. Fusion radar in the video in my post. :)

  5. This video features edits to the Back to the Future: Hill Valley mod that were added on by me, RobertBlox.

    Changes that I made include:

    • New 1985 Marty Mcfly skin (from the end of BTTF 1) to replace Tommy Vercetti's "Street" skin
    • New Custom Radio stations.
    • New Time Circuits Off Sound
    • New Custom Particle effects that include:
    • - New generic corona lighting textures
    • - New front headlight beam textures to get rid of the glare
    • - New coil corona lighting
    • - New flame textures with a slight glowing feel to them
    • - Changes to tire skid marks
    • - Slight changes to water reflections

Please note that there is no download link available for these add-ons and that the new files were made completely by me.

One reason why I edited the particle.txd is because I couldn't stand the glare from the headlights and had to get rid of them. :laughing2: I also wanted a more realistic 1985 Marty Mcfly skin than those offered over the internet. In addition to this, whenever I looked at the front coil lighting, it was too obvious that there were multiple lights that made it up. To fix this, I made a new corona light texture that was thicker and more saturated which would make it look more as if it were one whole.

On the other hand, I had no real reason to change the flame texture. I just thought that by layering an image of a real flame with an added glow effect would look nice. :P

Tell me what you guys think.

    Thank you for viewing, B)

  6. I will do the subscribe to you, too. :)

By the way, I tried using both programs, but FRAPS seems to be the only one that works well. The only problem is that it's not free, so I can't record more than 30 seconds... Lol.

Do you happen to know of any good free ones? If not, no worries. :D

Yeah, I'm too cheap to spend money on a recording software...

  7. I respect you very much Dragon King, especially because of what Thyncho said. Although, maybe if we're all respectful and nice to everyone no matter who we believe they may be or what they have said then they will be respectful back. That's what I try to live by. :)

So maybe if you're nice to Leaf, she'll be nice back. :D

As Doc Brown would say to Marty, "You can't change what's in the past, but you can change what's in the present... Unless you have a Flux Capacitor."

That and it's not so healthy to continuously have arguments over the web.

  8. By the way Leaf, I have noticed that you have been working on the BTTF: LC mod and that you are an expert C++ programmer. I would like to congratulate you on your great work over there. :)

Also Trance, your BTTF: HV Telltale conversion work looks very excellent and almost (if not) flawless so far. It would be very cool if there was more stuff you could work with from Telltale, though. :D

And Thyncho, I have seen your modeling work on your 1955 Hill Valley so far and must say that you are very talented and know what you're doing. B)

Blue, I have also seen your many improvements towards the coding and effects in the GTA VC and SA editions of the mod. The capabilities you have are amazing, much like most others here. ;)

For others of you that I did not mention yet here, you too have done some great work and I admire and respect all of you.

Thanks again for being so welcoming,
