  1. ok, thats cool. basicly i want a better graphics card so for example the coils arent 10 feet behind the car in VC. if i get one of these things, will it help with that? i understand theyre not meant for gaming, but it does improve the performance? ah, saw your edit. well. that sucks! haha of course sony wont tell you that.

Hi guys. so i have a vaio laptop, and of course want a better graphics card. sony tells me that i cant upgrade it internally, as it is wired into the motherboard. they suggested an external videocard. i found this one, and was wondering if its a good one and will achieve the results i want. anyone?

    Trojan

    everytime i get a trojan i restore my hard drive to factory settings to get it right. maybe i'm not good enough with comps to delete em, or maybe i get wickedly bad trojans. i had norton 360 once, got a trojan and called them. theyre like yeah, for 60 bucks an hours or something rediculous we'll log onto your comp, search it and delete it. i'm like why do i have norton then? yeah, no more norton for me.

  6. This is really coming along nicely guys. better than expected of course! 1. Did you guys tweek the model switching during car/flying car conversion? it looks much smoother. 2. I'm sure the video makers comp is way better than mine, but the coils and f/x are right on the money. in my 0.2e theres a small drag. was there a fix in some way? 3. So you guys just coded it to switch map models for different times? Lookin good guys!
  7. Yeah, thats ok DK. it works. Flux, do you get to about 50 or 60 and then its like it hits a wall? thats what the new col does for me. oh well, i can always use the old one for video making. i do like how the track sections no longer dissapear
  8. sweet flux. do you like em? dk's col tends to make it harder to actually push the delorean. at least thats what i've noticed.

  10. well it was 300, and i went lower. way lower. anyway if i extend the model, the polys get out of control. maybe i'll figure it out eventually.
  11. It must be an LOD thing. i could try setting it lower and see if it helps. ok, it doesnt. i'm just gonna extend the model. should work n/p.
  12. so, i dont know if you guys were following the discussion on the mods page, but this jackass finally chimed in and called me all kinds of super childish names. a dude then said, that doesnt even make sense, do you 2 know each other? i said no, and now he will be reported to the moderator. i wasnt going to just blatantly rat him out before about his questionable conduct, but i surely did afterward. his mod was gone hours later hahaha. stupid people.

  14. Enter the wonderful world of modding, marti. The way i got it to look so good in my vids is, connect the del, and get out and into the train. make sure the del is still connected, and switch to the inside view. then start from far behind the tracks, line it up as best you can and gun it. it gets harder to control the faster it goes, but u'll nail it eventually. my other idea was like to set a waypoint for the train to push the del to, and just place that waypoint at the end of the track.

  17. yeah theyre tough. flux, if its crashing in the middle of loading its prob the col. just make sure its next to the ide and ipl. also dont forget to put the dat file in the data folder.
