99 trails and instant will be needed for certain missions, so those will stay in.

Mini-Me is the one making the coding changes, since he is the lead coder now.
I will ask the question about hover conversion animations for the police car, though I don't see them as being needed. If they don't take up too much coding space then maybe we can add them.

Ok folks, an update of sorts, the following have been removed from the mod:
Nth dimension
Beeper
Location circuits
DMC-13
Ride Mission
Tutorial Mission
Before anyone complains about the missions we are already thinking of missions we can add to replace these. Hopefully they will be missions which we don't have to weave into the time travel code in order to make it work...

I say get rid of it, but keep the Time Circuit scrambling thingThat was the plan, remove Nth dimension but keep the scrambled time circuits when damaged.

Poll as per title, should we remove the Nth dimension feature from future versions of the mod?
This is a 30-40 line feature that doesn't really have any particular purpose, unless you like driving blind.

Update July 23 2009: The town square portion of the map will still be included, and will feature a simple road allowing you to travel to/from it. (Just like the latest 0.2e update)We're not playing that game again, it just causes too many instability issues. That's not to say evil or Jay can't release their version as an add-on, but it won't be in the main release.

At the end of the day it's overall sound and playability that count, and the musicman hits both those points. (in my opinion)

I have a MusicMan Sub Bass that I purchased around 2 years ago. From memory I think it was around £250-£300, cheap at twice the price and sounds just as good as it's more expensive Stingray cousin.

And any news on the permissions for the low-poly cars?It's on my todo list, but I haven't actually sent any emails out yet. Basically I'm going to say unless I hear from them we will go ahead and use the lower detail versions which Mark is working on.

Basically low detail models which load load which you will see from a set distance away. Once you actually drive to a particular point, the LOD is replaced with the high detail mode.

Search for:
$DELOREAN_LOCATION = 0 // integer values
and change the 0 to a 1 it's as simple as that.
