How's this?
I want to add a rear profile shot of the delorean to the upper left just to balance it
-
needs to be at least a little bit upbeat for an intro -
@Joe, I was planning on using the VC theme, both as a nod to VC itself, and ricardodudes earlier mod intro. I am also planning on doing silhouettes as well, that montage part will only get 3 to 4 seconds of screen time in the finished version.
Actually I went back to using that theme because I wanted to give a nod to VC.I would say be more creative and don't try to show its roots to gtavc.Since it's the stock music we shouldn't get in trouble for using it, since all we're doing is replacing the video footage that it played over. Unless you are going to finish you piano bttf cover and i'll use that?
@Mini-Me, have you not used the new fonts.txd? I can see everything perfectly with the updated version.

This took all of 20 mins, it's just a test for now, hence the random video footage, mainly to see how it would look. Needs a lot of work, i.e. custom footage for 0.2f, and clipping fixes.
-
That's a very big if there
-
Only just got around to watching this, it's pretty good. It has actually inspired me to think about making a new intro video for 0.2f.
-
VideoBob has been advertising that thing for months. He obviously hasn't realised that no one in there right mind would pay that much for a BTTF style DeLorean.
The only car which in my opinion, would be worth that sort of money, would be the "A" car from Universal.

if we're comparing resolution, 1920 x 1200 x 32 with zero lag
-
Autopilot's been removed then?
-
Got around to testing out some of the new features, mtm works somewhat, though if you go to catch up with a delorean, once it has re-entered once, that's it, you can't go travel to the same date and see it reenter again, or go back into the past and have it disappear - ala the past and future deloreans feature in VC.
Also, what key activates the autopilot?
-
delete the old cleo folder completely and replace with the new, overwrite effects and sala files. job done.
-
If you aren't comfortable using the source code, perhaps you should just wait until the next official release of the mod?
-
The mixed version looks much better.
-
What do you think the the "L" stands for in LGisby?
-
I don't agree either, ped's can wait until last, they aren't high priority.
-
It can be done, I did this with Mini-Me sometime ago when we re-added the old 04 DeLorean in addition to the DMC-13.
Trouble is you'd still need to use 2 car slots, one for the driving version and another for the flying version, which is a complete waste on anything other than the DeLorean, train, and police car.
-
Obviously 1.0 is gonna start on October 25th 1985. Until then, I'd just keep it as the date of release, it's not like there is an actual use in having it start at the current date/time.
-
that was like watching a slide show -
Eh, well it was me who was bugging Blue to add the DTMF tones, personally I think they are perfect, and makes the VC version match up to it's SA counterpart.
-
Why would you want to change the 10 second delay anyway? By the time you have exited the car, gone to the back, refueled, and got back in, that's the 10 seconds over with anyway.

The old forum is still open, the main site is just offline via the main URL, you can still access the forum directly via http://www.knightindustriesmodding.com/kr/index.php
There are still some tweaks to be made to the new forum before it is officially launched, watch this space.

I like the new one myself. The one we used to have was the same sound you would hear if you entered a destination incorrectly
-
I figured some people would pick up on that. Just so you know, it is highly unlikely that 0.2f will be released on Jan 01 2010. Also, keep in mind that once a release date is set, the destination time on the sites time circuits will be locked down to that date rather than being random as they currently are now.

Well, your's was just a test. I did spend quite a bit of time cutting that thing out though
