  1. I think Liam and Andy should have a chat and decide between them what they want to model.

Both Liam and Andy would be wasted on generic houses, that's something which in my opinion can wait until last, while there are so many much more important buildings to be modelled the focus should be on those.

  2. Worked fine on 7 until it came to audext.exe, where it froze for 5+ minutes, now it slowly extracts everything else

Depends on the speec of the machine, if you try the old auto installer the audext should display for a similar amount of time. That is the reason I added the message to the installer informing people that it will take a few minutes to install. The installation of the sfx files is the longest part of the install.

  3. I'm curious, looks like there have been a few downloads of the new installer and I wanted to get some feedback on it, hopefully it should install everything perfectly which should negate the need for a separate sfx + models download.

The new installer was tested on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 64-bit - the latter two having User Account Control turned on, and it installed without a single problem.

  4. Man, this seems like a lot of work, given that I provided most of this information to them in the email I sent them, W T F....

  5. He's being a smart ass half quoting the "license" in 0.2e.

Anyway, I just dropped ioffer a friendly email.

    To whom it may concern,

I am the administrator of www.bttfhillvalley.co.uk our team is working on a modification

for the PC versions of Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, the

modification brings the Back to the Future universe to PC gamers.

We offer this as a free modification and would never dream of charging someone for

playing it. However we have been made aware of a user who is trying to profit from our

modification by trying to sell it via ioffer, direct link:

http://www.ioffer.com/i/119203051 please know that this user does not have permission in

any way shape or form to sell this modification in part or as a whole for a profit, hence

we would appreciate if you could please remove this listing as soon as possible.

Please advise should you require any additional verification/information.

    Kind Regards,

Mike Ward - BTTF Hill Valley Team

  6. I myself see a GTA4 move being more likely than a Crysis move.

Maybe, but if that does happen it won't be for a while, only a few of us have PC's powerful enough to run GTA IV at decent settings.

The new layout of the forum will make it very easy to drop in GTA IV sections though if we ever go down that road.

For now though there is enough to be doing, lots of work in VC still todo, and even more work todo in SA to bring it up to speed with the VC version of the mod, so I think we have enough to be working on for now :P

    Someday maybe :)
