  1. I don’t get all these crash issues people are complaining about. I finally installed 0.2e & all updates yesterday, and the game runs just fine for me.

    My specs:

    Dell XPS M1530

    Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 (2.50GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 6 MB L2 cache)

    4 GB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM (2x2048)

NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256MB dedicated graphic memory

200GB Seagate SATA hard drive (7200RPM)

Was running Windows Vista Home Premium when I bought it, however within a few daysI upgraded it to Windows XP Professional 32 bit running Service Pack 3.

I would hazard a guess that providing you have a fairly decent spec PC, running Windows XP 32 bit, then you should have very few problems with the mod, so long as you install all the updates (including Dragon Kings updated .exe file)

Additionally, I never use either of the save features, I always start a new game, which could potentially aid stability.

  2. Because you need permission to release it.

Imagine you’d spent a lot of time and effort into making a model for the game, and then someone released updated textures for it without asking you first, you wouldn’t exactly be pleased were you. It’s even worse if the person who released the updated texture also starts taking credit for the model.

It’s quite like the guys with the Spanish forum, they never asked for permission to use our logo/background (from both the old and new forum), now, we spent considerable time making the logos etc, so for someone to affectively steal them, it just wee weees us off.

    Rant over, and breath

  3. Ace, did you speak with Nightshade and get a list from him on what's already been done?

If I remember correctly I think Nightshade has modeled Doc's Mansion, though I'm not sure if that extends to the garage. Maybe worth checking with him first, just don't want to see anyones time get wasted on modeling things that are already done. :)
