Has anyone downloaded Dragon Kings updated .exe? Just curious to know if this fixes the stability issues that some of you are experiencing.
-
Well, I’m glad the general consensus is that it doesn’t have a virus.
The only thing I can think of is that he must have had the virus before he downloaded the mod.
-
He supposedly downloaded it from here, so he is blaming us for giving him a virus.
-
OK, this may sound a random question, but has anyone had any virus alerts when running the 2e installer? Someone on youtube is spazzing out saying the setup file gave him a virus.
Speaking for myself, I have no virus alerts when running any of the BTTF HV setup packages, and I use corporate anti virus software, which should be a cut above your average AVG.

Ok, it's been almost a month since the competition closed, but with the forum move and just being generally busy I haven't had the time to go through the entries and setup a poll.
So here are the final entries for the Needles texture comp, simply vote for the best one.
Keep in mind, this is what we are aiming for:
These are the entries:
timetrain's Entry
grim reaper's Entry
Microman's Entry
Microman win's the Jennifer texture as he was the only one who bothered to make a texture for her.
Doctor Emmett L. Brown decided to withdraw from the comp, as such his entry is not available to put a vote against.
Well, I guess that's everything. Get voting people. Closing date for votes is Sunday 23 November, 10:00PM GMT (London).

Mini-Me, can you PM me the link to that mod please.
Blue is busy with real life at the moment, so is taking a little break from modding.
-
I did reduce it. you can see it is much darker.DK, if you want my opinion I think the prelightingo on the Clock Tower needs to be reduced some more.
-
Just so you know, in DK's post, it's Doc's Garage, not Biff's.
-
It's not the texture DK, I think the prelighting on the model needs to be reduced somewhat.
-
Tired of DK having all the fun?
Fancy getting in on the action?
Then join in and create some player textures, the winning textures will be included in the release of 0.2f
To enter this contest you will need to make one or both of the following:
Needles from 1985 - Using a male ped model
Jennifer from 1985 - Using a female ped model
Closing date for entries will be October 24th 2008 with the submitted entries going to public vote.

The reason I was waiting for VTP9 is because it supports running under Service Pack 3, where as VTP8 did not.
Uninstallation of VTP9 is a breeze, it can literally be uninstalled in a couple of clicks.
-
No it was from their website i believe....Brico i think it was? That's not where VTP comes from, however it was a module included with VTP8.
I myself wouldn't download VTP from anywhere other than JCXP.net
New version works just fine for me, though I only have the basic settings on, glass windows and the other flashy stuff just eats away at your system resources.

I think that’s done on purpose, if you look at the reflection at the bottom of the pic, you can see the letters on the tyre spell Lightyear.

I like that

All 0.2f requests must be posted in the Ideas and Feature Requests section.
Topic closed.

Exactly, and that's why BTTF HV would never work as a total conversion mod under San Andreas.
The way I see it, it’s either GTA VC or GTA IV assuming the mod will function under it.
-
As far as I know you can use the latest version (not sure which version I have, will check when I get home), but you must make sure to turn off certain features, e.g. cruise control, and some other misc stuff.

Um, you were using it with the map updates though weren't you?
Try it standalone, it should work.
