How do you get the Delorean with hook

This has been driving me crazy. I want to do the clocktower sequence and just cannot. Is there anything special you have to do to get the Delorean with the hook. I've gone to the garage in various years and all that comes up is BTTF1 Delorean. It doesn't say anything about a hook. Can anyone help me out and tell me how to get it? Thanks much.

When you are at the BTTF 1 Delorean at the garage press S and it goes to the hook one.

Press down while choosing delorean, choose the one w/ hook, and drive. Someone closes.
