TWG 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2009 Anyone know if they're able to be modded? I think it's just a simple matter of going to the STEAM folder and then R* Games/GTA VC ect. I could be wrong though, anyone know if this is for certain? And does anyone know if GTA SA is able to be modded using the Steam download? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Saiyaman 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2009 As far as I know for San Andreas it goes like this V1 - Original SA with Hot Coffee hidden V2 - Second SA with Hot Coffee removed and made non moddable without a patch V3 - Third SA from Steam with Hot Coffee removed and non moddable nor patchable as far as I know. This wouldn't explain why they made the MPACK add-on for San Andreas, which made the game hell more moddable. R* never originally wanted their games to be moddable. The reason why they are unmoddable is because the GTA games were originally console games, ported to the PC. And what's the point of making console games moddable?
