    Am I the only one having trouble getting this mod to work?

    This is a fresh install of San Andreas with the downgrader patch installed. However, everytime I try to start the game, it crashes and the SA Limit Adjuster dialog box shows up saying that I have GTASA v1.00 installed.

    The patch gets installed in the right place. What am I doing wrong?

    (Not able to post this in the actual GTA San Andreas stargate thread since it is over 31 days since it was last posted in).

    The P90 has already been made, not sure about the others though. But here's a question, "Why would they need to model C4 when plastic explosives are already in stock SA." (rhetorical) :rolleyes:

    Forgot about the plastic explosives in stock SA. :doh2:

    Its been so long since I have played stock SA that I forgot they were in the game. My bad.

    Don't buy it just because its close the the DMC-12 that was used in the trilogy (1982 model I think that was) because that would be a waste of money.

    I know where all fans here, but buying a car just because it is similar to what was used in the movies is kind of taking it too far.

    Besides, you'd never be allowed to get it upto 88mph anyway, lol. :P

    i like the VC one too, but i like the GTA SA Map better. I know it's hard to code. I modded gta san andreas as well. And i never get bored in GTA SA. After playing GTA VC for an Hour - hour and a half, I get VERY BORED. But my gta sa laggs as well. That's Cuz i have v2.00 and i have to search the world wide internet for a Nice working crack for Window's Vista. :angry:

    BTW: If Someone knows a nice working crack, please reply! i would appreciate that.

    Theres also the downgrader patch you can get that will let mods work in GTA SA again.

    I won't tell you where to find it though as I don't want to be banned from here.

    All i'll say is, I had to find this patch when I wanted to be able to run zero's Stargate mod for GTA SA.

    That reminds me. How many big mods can be installed at anyone time in GTA:VC or GTA:SA? I was wondering if its possible to have BTTFSA, Stargate San Andreas Rebellion and a few vehicle replacments installed at the same time.

    Because Mediafire/Megaupload crash all the time !

    You could upload them to FileFront or Rapidshare, provided of course that they are into a compressed format that is easily openable. I suggest WinRar because the amount of people who I have seen who do not know how WinZip, WinAce or 7-Zip works is just mind boggling.

    Now I need your opinion on something for the animation :

    Do you prefer to see this animation in FullScreen InGame or do you prefer with black bands ?

    If you can get it full screen without too much of an FPS drop, then that will be bloody brilliant.

    If the limitations of the game engine means that fullscreen won't be possible, then the option you go with will still be awesome!.

    Either way, I love this mod. Its is brilliant, especially given the age of San Andreas itself.

    I admit that I came into this thread really late in the conversation so I apologise if this has been asked before, but how come when I am succesfully able to dial the stargate to Abydos, when I step through the event horizon, I don't get transported to Abydos? Does the Requiem mission have to be completed first?

    How do I control the thruster movement for the Hydra and Hydra-type vehicles with this mod installed?

    Its very hard to fly gliders without being able to move thrusters and number 8 won't move the thrusters.

    I dunno, but if you find out how to fix it, PM me plz, cause I have the same problem with anouther mod! :cry:

    I'm hoping zero knows how to fix it.

    It shouldn't matter though that I bought a pre-owned copy of San Andreas from ebay.co.uk and had to get the downgrader patch so that mods could work, should it?

    Definatly go with the classic wormhole, which is the first one.

    It had been used since the movie untill it was swapped for a blue version of the Atlantis wormhole. And the Atlantis wormhole isn't very good looking.

    EDIT: Who do I need to talk to about this error?

    It happens when trying to start San Andreas. I have installed the Stargate Rebellion mod correctly.

    I can try to make the face better if you want ...

    Its upto you. Its your skin so you can do whatever the heck you want with it.

    Sure, a lighter skin color for the face, legs and hands would help, but to do the changes is totally your choice.

    BTTFHV could do with a Goldie Wilson skin though, lol. :D

    April 1st here in England. 01:07am to be precise. I have already done a full scan of my PC once with AVG 8.5 and found no sign of Conficker. I am scanning again just to be on the safe side. Then proably in the evening of April 1st after work.

    Hopefully, I shouldn't have any problems.

    Also, all suspicious messages get deleted before they are opened.

    I wouldn't recommend AVG in versions below 8.5. For removing Conficker, AVG 8.5 IS recommended (free or payed; either way, as long as it's updated). Anti-viruses like AVG and McAfee, unlike others, are capable of removing Conficker via scan alone. I currently have the f***ing virus in my Virus Vault (I'm using AVG 8.5 Free).

    AVG 8.5.285

    Should be okay then, if it turns out that I do have something to worry about.
